Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas tentang Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Sistem Komputer Siswa Kelas X TKJ, khususnya di SMK Negeri 5 Enrekang. Masalah yang dihadapi adalah apakah penerapan model problem based learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Sistem Komputer siswa kelas X TKJ SMK Negeri 5 Enrekang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model problem based learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Sistem Komputer siswa kelas X TKJ SMK Negeri 5 Enrekang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 28 siswa, 23 siswa perempuan dan 5 siswa laki-laki. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model Problem Based Learning hasil belajar siswa setiap siklusnya mengalami perubahan secara signifikan. Secara berturut-berturut (berdasarkan siklus I dan II) hasil belajar pada siswa Kelas X SMK Negeri 5 Enrekang, diperoleh bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 67,85 termasuk dalam kategori cukup dan belum mencapai KKM, dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas belajar adalah 9 orang dengan persentase secara klasikal sebesar 32,14 % dan hasil belajar pada siklus II rata-rata diperoleh 83,57 termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas belajar adalah 26 dengan persentase secara klasikal sebesar 92,86%. Demikian penelitian tindakan kelas ini dikatakan berhasil dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning. ABSTRACT This study discusses the Implementation of Problem Based Learning Model to Improve Computer System Learning Outcomes of Class X TKJ Students, especially at SMK Negeri 5 Enrekang. The problem faced is whether the implementation of the problem based learning model can improve the learning outcomes of Computer Systems of class X TKJ students of SMK Negeri 5 Enrekang. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the implementation of the problem based learning model can improve the learning outcomes of Computer Systems of class X TKJ students of SMK Negeri 5 Enrekang. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), while the data collection techniques used are observation and tests. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was carried out in 2 cycles. The subjects of the study were 28 students, 23 female students and 5 male students. The results of the study showed that by implementing the Problem Based Learning model, student learning outcomes in each cycle changed significantly. Consecutively (based on cycles I and II) learning outcomes in Class X students of SMK Negeri 5 Enrekang, it was obtained that the average student learning outcomes in cycle I were 67.85 included in the sufficient category and had not reached the KKM, with the number of students who completed learning being 9 people with a classical percentage of 32.14% and the average learning outcomes in cycle II were 83.57 included in the very good category with the number of students who completed learning being 26 with a classical percentage of 92.86%. Thus, this classroom action research is said to be successful in improving student learning outcomes through the application of the Problem Based Learning model.
