Abstract

Garut Kota is a sub-district in Garut Regency, West Java, Indonesia. Although this sub-district is called Garut Kota, the center of government of Garut Regency is in Tarogong Kidul Sub-district. Pregnancy is a continuous chain that starts from ovulation until the growth and development of the conception in the uterus. Pregnancy is a natural process, but proper care must be taken so that the mother and fetus are healthy. One of the efforts to improve maternal health during pregnancy through an approach is the class of pregnant women. The involvement of STIKes Karsa Husada Garut as one of the stakeholders in the class of pregnant women is intended to be able to actively participate in the program to increase the knowledge and skills of pregnant women regarding pregnancy, pregnancy care, childbirth, postpartum care, infant care, myths, infectious diseases and birth certificates through pregnant women's class activities. This activity for STIKes karsa Husada is a community service activity which is one of the obligations of Higher Education Institutions in carrying out Tri Dharma. The implementation of activities at the Garut Square Hall, on Saturday, February 03, 2024. Participants were attended by 30 pregnant women in the Garut City area.

Abstract

Garut City area is a sub-district in Garut Regency, West Java Province, Indonesia. The Garut City Government Center is in Tarogong Kidul District. Baby Massage is a light massage given to babies so that it provides a feeling of security, comfort and calm for the baby. Baby massage can be done by the mother, father or family members. The benefits of Baby Massage can result in positive changes in the baby. If done correctly, the baby can increase appetite and improve the quality of the baby's sleep. The involvement of STIKes Karsa Husada Garut as one of the stakeholders in the pregnant women's class is intended to enable them to actively participate in the program to increase pregnant women's knowledge about baby massage which can improve the quality of baby's sleep. For STIKes Karsa Husada, this activity is a community service activity which is one of the obligations of Higher Education Institutions in implementing the Tri Dharma. Activities will be held on Saturday 3 February 2024 at Pendopo Alun Alun Garut by providing education and practice regarding baby massage. Participants who attended were 30 pregnant women in the Garut City area

Abstract

Tarogong Kidul is a sub-district in Garut Regency, West Java Province, the eastern boundary of Garut Kota District, the South of Bayongbong District and Cilawu District, the West of Samarang District, the North of Tarogong Kaler District. Pregnancy is a time when pregnant women experience physiological and psychological changes. Changes that occur during pregnancy can cause complaints or discomfort during pregnancy and result in anxiety in pregnant women. Anxiety in pregnant women can be overcome with one of the complementary therapies, namely relaxing prenatal yoga. The involvement of Karsa Husada Health Institute Garut as one of the stakeholders in the pregnant mother class is intended to enable them to actively participate in the program to reduce anxiety in pregnant women. This activity for STIKes Karsa Husada is a community service activity which is one of the obligations of Higher Education Institutions in implementing the Tri Dharma . The planned activity that will be implemented is reducing anxiety for pregnant women in the second and third trimesters through relaxing prenatal yoga, namely by providing steps and methods through education and practice. The activity was held in Goah Gumelar on Saturday 3 February 2024 and 25 participants attended.
