Abstract

Abstrak. Bimbingan belajar merupakan kegiatan yang perlu diikuti oleh siswa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis sehingga dapat memecahkan permasalahan dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan teknik pre-test dan post-test digunakan untuk melihat perbedaan kemampuan siswa yang mengikuti dan tidak mengikuti kegiatan bimbingan belajar, untuk mampu memecahkan atau menyelesaikan soal yang diberikan berjumlah 3 soal, dengan sampel yaitu seluruh populasi yang berjumlah 30 orang. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang tidak mengikuti bimbingan belajar cenderung kesulitan dalam menjawab dan menyelesaikan soal yang diberikan sedangkan siswa yang mengikuti bimbingan belajar sangat mudah dalam menjawab soal tersebut, hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya pengetahuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal dan kurangnya latihan dalam pengerjaan soal-soal. Tutoring is an activity that needs to be followed by students to improve critical thinking skills so that they can solve problems in the learning process. Quantitative research methods with Pre-Test and Post-Test techniques are used to see the differences in the abilities of students who take and do not take part in tutoring activities, to be able to solve or solve the questions given totaling 3 questions, with a sample of the entire population of 30 people. The results show that students who do not follow tutoring tend to have difficulty in answering and solving the questions given while students who follow tutoring are very easy to answer these questions, this is due to the lack of knowledge of students in solving problems and lack of practice in working on the questions. Abstract

Improving literacy, especially reading and writing literacy in society, must be one of the centers of attention of various parties. Low literacy skills will encourage people to respond incorrectly to information that has the potential to take actions that are not in accordance with existing rules and can even hinder the growth of the global human development index as the government hopes, and can even harm themselves. This service activity is carried out in an effort to improve literacy in village communities. Activities are carried out by means of outreach, discussions and training that directly involve the community. The implementation of this community service activity proves that the discussion, socialization and training methods can improve the literacy skills of the village community.
