Abstract

Wise financial management from an early age is an important foundation in building a young generation that has financial awareness. This community service activity aims to instill the concept of financial literacy in children aged 5-7 years so that they understand the value of money, needs, and the importance of saving. The method used is an educational approach through interactive activities such as games, simple transaction simulations, and casual discussions. The activity was carried out on May 22, 2024 in Dukuh Kayunan Barat, Kayugeritan Village, involving 10 participants. The results of the activity showed an increase in children's understanding of basic financial concepts, such as distinguishing between needs and wants and the importance of saving. Children are also more enthusiastic about implementing saving habits in their daily lives. This program is expected to be the first step in creating a young generation that is wise in managing finances.

Abstract

This study examines the role of fintech in transforming consumer transaction behavior in the modern era. Employing a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, this research involved in-depth interviews with 10 active digital wallet users aged 18-25 years. The findings reveal that fintech has altered how Generation Z conducts transactions, enhancing efficiency and convenience, and fostering a cashless culture. The use of digital wallets not only increased transaction frequency and ease but also influenced their consumption patterns and financial management. The majority of informants preferred digital transactions over cash, driven by ease of access and various promotional incentives such as cashback. The study also identified challenges like internet dependency and data security concerns. These findings provide crucial insights for the development of the fintech industry and financial inclusion efforts in Indonesia's medium-sized cities, and offer recommendations for enhancing user education regarding digital security and financial management, as well as leveraging the potential of Generation Z in digital financial transactions.     Penelitian ini mengkaji peran fintech terhadap perubahan perilaku konsumen dalam bertransaksi di era modern. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan fenomenologi, penelitian ini melibatkan wawancara mendalam dengan 10 pengguna aktif dompet digital yang berusia 18-25 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fintech telah mengubah cara generasi Z bertransaksi, meningkatkan efisiensi dan kenyamanan, serta menciptakan budaya cashless. Penggunaan dompet digital juga tidak hanya meningkatkan frekuensi dan kemudahan transaksi, tetapi juga mempengaruhi pola konsumsi dan pengelolaan keuangan mereka. Sebagian besar narasumber lebih memilih transaksi digital dibandingkan tunai, didorong oleh kemudahan akses dan berbagai insentif promosi seperti cashback. Penelitian juga menemukan tantangan seperti ketergantungan pada internet dan kekhawatiran akan keamanan data. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi pengembangan industri fintech dan upaya inklusi keuangan di kota-kota menengah di Indonesia, serta menawarkan rekomendasi untuk peningkatan edukasi pengguna mengenai keamanan dan pengelolaan keuangan digital, serta memanfaatkan potensi generasi Z dalam transaksi keuangan digital.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the home furniture industry in improving the economy of the community in Bondansari village. Bondansari is one of the villages in the District of Wiradesa and is close to the District of Siwalan. With a wide expanse of rice fields, the livelihood of the population is not only as farmers, but there are also several home industry entrepreneurs in various types of businesses. In Bondansari Village there is a home industry, namely Win Furniture. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods with supporting data from previous research journals that are relevant to this research. The results of this study indicate a positive impact from the Win Furniture home industry in an effort to improve the economy of the community in Bondansari village. Besides the positive impact, there are obstacles that hinder the development of the home industry win furniture. Lack of capital, lack of equipment, and erratic orders, so that sometimes there is a shortage of manpower for the time promised. The strategy that needs to be done is by building relationships so that they are able to develop their business well and
