Abstract

ABSTRAK Demam berdarah merupakan wabah penyakit yang ditularkan oleh nyamuk jenis Aedes aegypti dan Aedes albopictus. Dalam melakukan upaya pencegahan penyakit tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan metode PSN dan 3M plus. Dalam pemberian agen larvasida konvensional memiliki beberapa efek negatif seperti keracunan, gangguan saluran napas, serta resistensi serangga terhadap senyawa kimia yang digunakan. Maka dalam program ini akan dilaksanakan penyuluhan terkait pemanfaatan serbuk daun kemangi sebagai biolarvasida effervescent untuk nyamuk Aedes aegypti.Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan asayrakat terkait penyakit DBD serta pencegahannya menggunakan produk biolarvasida effervescent dari serbuk daun kemangi, serta guna menilai tingkat kepuasan masyarakat terhadap program penyuluhan yang diselenggarakan. Program ini dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan prosedural, yang dimulai dari interpretasi permasalahan pada lahan, dilanjutkan dengan penyusunan timelinepelaksanaan kegiatan, kemudian dilakukan penyuluhan yang terbagi dalam beberapa sesi penyampaian materi yaitu sesi pemaparan tentang penyakit DBD, pemaparan perihal pemanfaatan serbuk daun kemangi sebagai biolarvasida effervescent, dan diakhiri dengan sesi workshop prosedur pembuatan biolarvasida effervescent serbuk daun kemangi. Program ini diakhiri dengan penilaian evaluasi kegiatan. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh 30 peserta tim penggerak PKK desa Langenharjo, berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kegiatan diperoleh hasil uji reliabilitas pertanyaan pretest dan posttest sebesar 0,517 dengan kriteria sedang dan hasil uji validitas pertanyaan keseluruhan dinyatakan ‘valid’. Berdasarkan nilai perolehan pretest dan posttest terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat perihal program yang dilakukan dengan persentase rata-rata pretest yaitu 67% dan terjadi peningkatan pada persentase rata-rata nilai postest hingga 93%. Dalam penilaian kuesioner tingkat kepuasan masyarakat terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan tergolong sangat puas dengan nilai sebesar 92,67. Pelaksanaan kegiatan KKN-PPM telah berjalan dengan lancar dan diikuti dengan baik oleh Tim Penggerak PKK Desa Langenharjo. Kegiatan pengabdian tersebut juga telah terbukti memberikan peningkatan tingkat pemahaman responden dalam hal pemahaman seputar penyakit DBD dan biolarvasida effervescent nyamuk aedes aegypti. Kata Kunci: Demam Berdarah, Biolarvasida, Daun Kemangi, Effervescent ABSTRACT Dengue fever is an epidemic disease transmitted by the Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes. Efforts to prevent this disease can be carried out using the PSN and 3M plus methods. The administration of conventional larvicidal agents has several negative effects such as poisoning, respiratory tract disorders, and insect resistance to the chemical compounds used. So in this program, counseling will be carried out regarding the use of basil leaf powder as an effervescent biolarvicide for the Aedes aegypti mosquito. This activity aims to increase public knowledge regarding dengue fever and its prevention using effervescent biolarvicide products from basil leaf powder, as well as to assess the level of public satisfaction with the outreach program held. This program was carried out in several procedural stages, starting from interpreting problems on the land, followed by preparing a timeline for implementing activities, then providing outreach which was divided into several material delivery sessions, namely a presentation session about dengue fever, a presentation about the use of basil leaf powder as an effervescent biolarvicide, and ending with a workshop session on procedures for making effervescent biolarvicide from basil leaf powder. This program ends with an activity evaluation assessment. This activity was attended by 30 participants from the Langenharjo village PKK team. Based on the results of the activity evaluation, the reliability test results for the pretest and posttest questions were 0.517 with medium criteria and the overall question validity test results were declared 'valid'. Based on the pretest and posttest scores, there was an increase in public knowledge regarding the program being carried out with an average pretest percentage of 67% and an increase in the average posttest score of up to 93%. In the questionnaire assessment, community satisfaction with the implementation of activities was classified as very satisfied with a score of 92.67. The implementation of KKN-PPM activities has gone smoothly and has been well followed by the Langenharjo Village PKK Mobilization Team. This service activity has also been proven to increase the level of understanding of respondents in terms of understanding about dengue fever and the effervescent biolarvicide of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. Keywords: Dengue, Biolarvicide, Basil Leaves, Effervescent

Abstract

Cosmetic preparations come into direct contact with the outside of the body (skin), so the product must be safe from various contaminants. In cosmetic preparations, heavy metal lead is intentionally added to give the impression of a shiny and bright colour; in addition, lead contamination contained in cosmetic products can come from raw materials or equipment in the production process. This study aims to analyze the content of heavy metal lead (Pb) in cosmetic preparations of eyeliner pencil and lipstick from various brands, validate the analysis method, and evaluate the assessment of the maximum limit of heavy metal lead in cosmetic preparations based on the Regulation of the Head of the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency of the Republic of Indonesia Number 16 of 2024 concerning Contamination Limits in Cosmetics. The analysis method used is the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) instrument. Sample preparation was carried out using the wet destruction method, the procedure was carried out by mixing concentrated HNO₃ and HCl in a ratio of 1:3. The results of the analysis using the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) instrument showed that the highest lead content in the eyeliner pencil sample was 7.8823 ± 0.4075 mg/Kg; and in the lipstick sample was 118.5490 ± 0.6479 mg/Kg. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the three cosmetic products of eyeliner pencil of various brands have met the requirements of BPOM RI No. 16 of 2024, while of the three samples of lipstick cosmetic preparations, there was one sample that did not meet the requirements for lead content in cosmetic preparations based on BPOM RI No. 16 of 2024.
