Abstract

Pendidikan memainkan peran krusial dalam membentuk masa depan individu, dan setiap anak berhak mendapatkan pendidikan dasar. Namun, terdapat kesenjangan yang signifikan dalam kualitas dan akses pendidikan, termasuk pendidikan musik, yang dapat berdampak negatif pada perkembangan anak-anak. Kesenjangan ini disebabkan oleh akses yang tidak merata terhadap sumber daya pengajaran musik, prioritas dan kebijakan sekolah yang lebih mengutamakan mata pelajaran akademis, serta faktor sosial ekonomi yang mempengaruhi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji kualitas dan penerapan aransemen dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler drumband. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif musikologis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan di SD Paliyan II Gunungkidul, yang terletak di Desa Karangduwet, Kecamatan Paliyan, Kabupaten Gunungkidul, DI Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan musikal siswa di SD Paliyan II berkembang dengan baik melalui penerapan repertoar drumband yang sudah diaransemen. Ini terlihat dari pemahaman musik, nada, irama, ketukan, serta meningkatnya semangat dan antusiasme dalam berlatih. Bentuk aransemen repertoar drumband yang dipelajari siswa adalah bentuk lagu tiga bagian (A A’ B C C’).Kata kunci: Drumband, Bentuk musik, Kecerdasan musik, RepertoarAbstractEducation plays a crucial role in shaping an individual's future, and every child has the right to basic education. However, there is a significant disparity in the quality and access to education, including music education, which can negatively impact children's development. This gap is caused by unequal access to music teaching resources, school priorities and policies that favor academic subjects, and socioeconomic factors that influence access. The purpose of this study is to examine the quality and implementation of arrangements in extracurricular drum band activities. The research method used is qualitative musicological research. Data collection was conducted at SD Paliyan II Gunungkidul, located in Desa Karangduwet, Kecamatan Paliyan, Kabupaten Gunungkidul, DI Yogyakarta. The results of the study show that the musical intelligence of students at SD Paliyan II has developed well through the implementation of arranged drum band repertoire. This is evident in their understanding of music, notes, rhythm, and beats, as well as their increased enthusiasm and motivation in practice. The form of the drum band repertoire arrangement studied by the students is a three-part song form (A A’ B C C’).Keywords: Drumband, Musical forms, Musical intelligence, Repertoire
