Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman materi sistem pencernaan pada siswa kelas 5 SDN 02 Madiun Lor melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) yang dipadukan dengan pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, angket, dan tes hasil belajar untuk mengukur pemahaman materi siswa. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 25 siswa kelas 5. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi sistem pencernaan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada tes posttest dan peningkatan aktivitas belajar selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Implementasi model pembelajaran PjBL yang dipadukan dengan TaRL menunjukkan hasil yang sangat positif, baik dari sisi guru maupun siswa. Persentase siswa yang mencapai nilai di atas KKM meningkat dari 20% pada pra-siklus menjadi 88% pada siklus II. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan yang memperhatikan kesiapan belajar serta melibatkan siswa secara aktif melalui proyek kontekstual efektif dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep sains dasar pada tingkat sekolah dasar. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa integrasi model PjBL dan pendekatan TaRL efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual siswa terhadap materi yang diajarkan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang adaptif dan inovatif dalam pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini juga memberikan arah bagi penelitian selanjutnya yang ingin mengeksplorasi integrasi model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan pendekatan pembelajaran yang berfokus pada tingkat pemahaman siswa.

Abstract

Mathematics is a main subject contained in every curriculum. Understanding Mathematics lessons is very necessary. Based on observations that have been made, it was found that class II students at SDN 02 Madiun Lor, Manguharjo District had difficulty understanding mathematics lessons about the numbers 1 to 1000, because the learning carried out was rigid and less flexible, the teacher only used the lecture method and adhered to the textbook without paying attention. other factors that influence students' activeness in learning mathematics. This has an impact on low student learning outcomes. So media is needed that can be used to increase students' understanding. This research is classroom action research (CAR). Classroom action research is research conducted to overcome problems in the classroom. Classroom action research can be used as a means for teachers to improve the quality of learning effectively. This research was conducted to determine the increase in students' understanding by using concrete object media in mathematics learning about numbers 1 to 1000 in class II students at SDN 02 Madiun Lor, Manguharjo District.

Abstract

Interest in learning is one of the things that needs to be built in students for successful learning. In fact, the interest in learning of class V students at SDN 02 Madiun Lor still needs to be increased. Researchers conducted Classroom Action Research (PTK) as an effort to create active, creative and innovative learning that can increase students' interest in learning Indonesian through the use of wordwall educational game media in learning. PTK is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and reflection activities. The results of the research show that the use of wordwall educational games media can increase the learning interest of class V students at SDN 02 Madiun Lor as indicated by an increase in the percentage of students fulfilling the indicators of learning interest. The increase in student interest in learning can be seen based on the results of the analysis of the observation sheet on student interest in learning in the pre-cycle. The results showed that the percentage of student learning completion was 40% of the total number of students who completed 4 out of 10 students were in the poor category, then the percentage of 60% was in the good category in cycle I, 90% in cycle II was in the very good category. The conclusion is that by using the wordwall educational game media, it can improve students' learning outcomes in learning, create interest in the material, so that students can more easily master lessons, and using wordwall will make it easier for teachers to deliver the material.
