Abstract

This study is motivated by frequent phonological errors made by ninth-grade students at MTs Al-Falah Limboto Barat in pronouncing Arabic sentences, particularly in muhadatsah (conversational practice). The study aims to analyze the phonological errors that occur and the factors influencing them. The method employed is descriptive quantitative, with the research population comprising all ninth-grade students. Data were collected through observations, online interviews, documentation, and oral tests. The findings indicate that phonological errors predominantly occur in the pronunciation of similar-sounding letters, such as the pronunciation of the letter (د) as (ت). The primary contributing factors include a lack of interest in learning, insufficient focus, and unengaging learning materials. The implication of this research is the necessity for enhancing the quality of Arabic language instruction and more intensive practice in phonological learning. In conclusion, phonological errors can be minimized through more effective teaching strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan metode mengajar guru dalam pembelajaran tajwid serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang memengaruhi kemampuan membaca al-Qur’an peserta didik di SDN 2 Kopandakan 2. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI menerapkan berbagai metode seperti metode Iqro’, tartil, talaqqi, ummi, serta memanfaatkan media audio-visual dan kartu huruf hijaiyah sebagai pendukung pembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran berlangsung interaktif, dimana guru memberikan contoh, bimbingan langsung, dan koreksi terhadap kesalahan bacaan peserta didik. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan pembelajaran meliputi motivasi siswa, peran aktif guru, serta sarana prasarana sekolah yang memadai, sementara faktor penghambat meliputi keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran, perbedaan kemampuan siswa, kurangnya latihan di rumah, dan minimnya bahan ajar tambahan. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa variasi metode mengajar guru dan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan pemahaman tajwid dan kualitas membaca al-Qur’an peserta didik.

Abstract

This article aims to theoretically explore the impact of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, with a focus on gender justice, on students' social awareness through a library research approach. This study involves analyzing relevant literature, including books, scientific journals, policy documents, and previous research on gender justice in Islamic education and the development of social awareness. The results of the study show that PAI learning that incorporates gender justice values can significantly enhance students' social awareness. This is because gender justice in education promotes an equal mindset, respects differences, and encourages active participation in social life. Therefore, integrating gender justice into the curriculum and PAI teaching process is a crucial step in building an inclusive civil society.
