Abstract

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of presenting Arabic textbooks for class X Madrasah aliyah KMA 183 in 2019 printed by the Ministry of Religion. This study uses qualitative methods as research procedures with the type of library research (Library Research). The data sources in this article are divided into two, primary and secondary. The primary data source used in this study was the Arabic Language Textbook KMA 183 Year 2019 published by the Indonesian Ministry of Religion. The secondary data sources in this research are several articles that have been published and also thesis related to the topic raised by the researcher. From the results of the researcher's analysis, it can be concluded that most of the presentations on Arabic students' books for class X KMA 2013 have met the indicators of the feasibility of presenting textbooks based on the BSNP, ranging from presentation techniques, learning presentations, to complete presentations. It's just that there is one weakness in this textbook, namely that it does not include reference sources based on information and communication technology sites in the images in the discussion of the material. Keywords: Analysis, Textbook, Arabic

Abstract

This study investigates the interplay between linguistic relativity and cultural schemata, examining how language encodes culturally salient concepts and shapes cognitive frameworks across diverse communities. Through ethnographic and psycholinguistic approaches, the study collects data from 12 different language communities with varied cultural backgrounds. Cross-linguistic and cross-cultural analyses reveal significant correlations between linguistic structures—such as grammatical categories, lexical distinctions, and metaphorical expressions—and culturally specific schemata in spatial, temporal, and social domains. Perception and cognitive reasoning experiments were conducted with 450 participants to test linguistic relativity hypotheses in cultural contexts. Quantitative and qualitative findings demonstrate that linguistic patterns both reflect and reinforce cultural norms, influencing perception and cognitive strategies. Analysis of cultural text corpora shows how linguistic categories serve as vehicles for internalizing cultural values and worldviews. Specifically, the study finds systematic variations in spatial information processing, time conceptualization, and social event interpretation that correlate with language features of respective communities. These results underscore the co-constitutive relationship between language and culture in shaping human thought, providing important implications for cross-cultural education, intercultural communication, and cognitive theory.

Abstract

This paper examines the implementation of translanguaging pedagogies within digital learning environments and their effectiveness in developing multilingual competence among Generation Z learners. Through a mixed-methods study involving 186 students and 14 educators across six higher education institutions, this research investigates how strategic integration of translanguaging practices in digital spaces supports linguistic flexibility, metalinguistic awareness, and cross-cultural competence. Findings reveal that digitally-mediated translanguaging approaches resulted in significant improvements in learners' willingness to communicate across languages (p<.01), metalinguistic awareness (p<.001), and cross-cultural communication efficacy (p<.01) compared to monolingual instructional approaches. The research further identifies five key digital translanguaging strategies that effectively leverage Generation Z's technological aptitude and multimodal literacy. This study contributes to the growing field of multilingual digital pedagogy by demonstrating how translanguaging can be systematically integrated into digital learning environments to foster linguistic repertoire expansion that aligns with the communicative needs of increasingly globalized contexts. The pedagogical framework presented offers practical guidance for educators seeking to implement translanguaging approaches in various digital learning modalities while accommodating Generation Z's learning preferences and multilingual development.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of group investigation method on maharah qiraah of seventh grade students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Huda Gorontalo City. This research is a quantitative study that uses experimental research design with the type of research Quasi Experimental Design. The sample in this study was 7th grade students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Huda Gorontalo City which amounted to 42 students from a population of 196 students with the type of sampling using a sampling technique, namely Purposive Sample. The result obtained from the t-test of pre-test and post-test data is that the hypothesis is accepted. Based on the results of calculations using SPSS 25, it is known that Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.003 <0.05, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So, there is an effect of Group Investigation Method on Maharah Qiraah of Grade 7 Students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Huda Gorontalo City. There is a difference between the results of experimental group students who use group investigation method and control group students who use conventional learning.

Abstract

Indonesia is currently very dependent on fossil energy, the availability of which is limited and has an emission effect on the environment. To sustain the availability of electrical energy, alternative energy sources are needed in the form of renewable energy, one of which is the Solar Power Plant (PLTS). This research discusses the design of an On Grid PLTS system in the park at Campus II, Pamulang University using Pvsyst 7.2 software by taking into account technical and economic aspects in three scenarios. In scenario 1, the On Grid PLTS is designed to suit the energy needs of the Pamulang University Campus II park, while in scenario 2 it uses an OFF Grid system and in scenario 3 it uses a Hybrid PLTS system (PLN+Batteries). Economic aspects are calculated using the Net Present Value (NPV) and Discounted Payback Period (DPP) methods. Technically, the Performance Ratio obtained was 83.59% and 83.53% respectively with Solar Fraction of 62.64% and 70.15% respectively. Economically, the NPV value obtained is positive and the investment return period is 7.78 years and 7.8 years respectively. So, designing an On Grid PLTS in the park of Pamulang University's Campus II is considered feasible.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of an integrative learning model in improving Indonesian literature appreciation skills among high school students. A quasi-experimental design was employed, involving 120 eleventh-grade students from two public high schools in Jakarta, Indonesia. The participants were divided into two groups: the experimental group, which received instruction through the integrative learning model, and the control group, which followed traditional teaching methods. The integrative model was designed to combine language skills development—such as reading comprehension, vocabulary enrichment, and critical writing—with structured literary analysis focusing on themes, characterization, style, and cultural context. Data were collected using pre-test and post-test assessments to measure learning outcomes, observation sheets to monitor classroom activities, and student questionnaires to capture perceptions and engagement levels. The results indicated that students in the experimental group experienced a significantly higher improvement in literature appreciation skills compared to those in the control group (p < 0.05). They demonstrated enhanced abilities to interpret literary works, analyze narrative elements, and articulate critical responses to Indonesian contemporary literature. Observation data revealed that the integrative approach fostered more active participation, collaborative learning, and deeper reflection during classroom discussions. Moreover, student feedback highlighted increased motivation, enjoyment, and perceived relevance of literature learning to real-life experiences. These findings underscore the pedagogical potential of integrative learning models in secondary school literature education. By linking language proficiency with analytical and interpretative competencies, this approach not only strengthens students’ linguistic abilities but also cultivates their critical thinking, cultural awareness, and aesthetic appreciation. The study recommends the wider adoption of integrative methods in Indonesian high schools as an effective strategy for promoting meaningful and enduring engagement with literature.
