Abstract

The objectives of this community service implementation are; provide information to the public how to make fish feed that is cheap, easy, and environmentally friendly so that people do not have trouble getting fish feed raw materials. Community Service in the Holistic Village Development and Guidance Program (PHP2D) was carried out in Dham Pulo Village (Gampong), Want Jaya District, Aceh Besar District, from August to December 2021. The general stages of this activity consist of 4 (four) stages main activities, namely: socialization and training on maggot organic feed technology, independent bioconversion-based organic feed manufacturing practices, training on digitalization of marketing fishery products, websites and social media and evaluation in the form of workshops or FGDs involving all stakeholders such as the village government, fisheries service and private agencies. . The results obtained from this activity are the information obtained regarding the technology of maggot cultivation independently as a substitute for catfish feed. The conclusion of this PHP2D activity is that the community can increase their skills in maggot cultivation techniques (Hermetia Illucens) independently which can be used as an alternative to pellets as fish feed.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has changed the mediaconsumption patterns of the younger generation, who are now increasingly dependent onstreaming media for entertainment, education, and social interaction. This phenomenon not onlyoffers flexible access and a variety of content, but also raises concerns about negative impactssuch as addiction, decreased quality of social interactions, and mental health disorders. This studyaims to describe the experience of watching streaming media among the younger generation,identify factors that influence their consumption behavior, and analyze its consequences on social,academic, and psychological aspects. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, thestudy involved 12 participants aged 17–23 years selected through purposive sampling. Datacollection was conducted through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation,then analyzed thematically with triangulation of sources and techniques to ensure data validity.The results show that the main motivations for using streaming media are entertainment,relaxation, increasing insight, and the need to follow social trends. The most popular types ofcontent include music, vlogs, entertainment videos, and educational content. Streaming mediaoffers benefits in the form of increased knowledge, practical skills, and emotional support, but alsocarries risks such as addiction, sleep disturbances, decreased productivity, and weakened directsocial interactions. This research confirms that streaming media plays a significant role in shapingthe identity and social lives of young people, while simultaneously requiring strengthened medialiteracy and wiser management of digital consumption. These findings are expected to provide abasis for educators, parents, and platform providers in designing strategies for healthy andconstructive use of streaming media.Keywords: (streaming media, young people, listening experience, media literacy, psychologicalimpact
