Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out students' perceptions regarding digital technology in the learning process and to find out whether digital technology really helps students in the learning process. The method used in this research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The selection of research subjects was carried out through a random sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out by closed interviews through the Google form and the data analysis technique used in this study was questionnaire data analysis. The majority of students (75%) agree that digital technology makes a major contribution to the learning process on campus. This is consistent with the fact that technology makes it easier for educators and students in distance learning. Various digital platforms facilitate assessment, information exchange, and interaction between teachers and students. Digital technologies provide significant benefits in the learning process, including increasing interaction between teachers and students, providing access to additional resources, and facilitating collaborative learning through online platforms. Abstract

This study uses a quantitative descriptive research method. The sampling technique is Random Sampling. The sample in this study were 19 Tadris Biology students at UIN-SU. Data collection techniques are through tests and non-tests. The tests are in the form of description questions to measure symbolic abilities, as well as students' understanding of "The Influence of Organized Activeness on Academic Achievement of Biology Students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra". Non-test techniques in the form of questionnaires and closed interviews, namely using the Google Form. The benefits obtained from being active in the organization apart from the influence on academic achievement are adding many useful relationships and increasing a sense of responsibility and good teamwork and adding new experiences that are not obtained in college lessons, and also affecting ourselves for example skill development public speaking, can develop self-potential, train sensitivity to the surrounding environment and increase a sense of concern for others as well as fostering productive, innovative, creative and critical abilities. Abstract

Digital literacy refers to an individual's ability to use digital technology with good understanding, including skills in finding, evaluating, using and sharing information effectively. This research was conducted to find out the history of the digital literacy level of first year students of Biology. To find out how the first year Tadris Biology students are able to access, understand, and evaluate scientific information that is relevant to the study of biology using digital technology. This study used a qualitative method using in-depth interviews via online, namely Google Meet. The importance of knowing or understanding digital literacy aims at good digital literacy skills that will assist students in accessing, understanding, and evaluating scientific information that is relevant to the study of biology. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how far UINSU biology tadris students know scientific journal articles, and see how far UINSU biology tadris students understand scientific journal article writing. The research method used in this study was descriptive qualitative. The population in this study were UINSU biology students. And the samples in this study were UINSU biology students class 2019-2022, namely 40 students who were still actively studying. The data collection technique used is the survey method. The sampling technique used in this study was random sampling. The data analysis technique was then processed using a descriptive analysis method to find out the results of a questionnaire conducted on Tadris Biology UINSU students class of 2019-2022. The results of this study are based on informants namely students that many students have made scientific journal articles and that means that many students understand scientific journal articles, both in terms of searching for scientific journal articles, understanding scientific journal articles and even making articles. scientific journals. But behind that there are also students, especially in the class of 2022, who still produce few scientific journal articles, and sometimes it's even difficult to find and understand them. Abstract

In current technological developments the use of technology as a source of information for students is very helpful, especially Google Scholar in helping find scientific work in the form of abstract articles and so on. This study aims to examine the use of technology as a source of information and the use of Google Scholar in helping to complete assignments. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. With data collection techniques through interviews for information data collection carried out by researchers by asking questions to informants. The results of the analysis show that the use of technology as a source of information, especially the use of Google Scholar in completing tasks is very helpful in making scientific work, because it provides academic literature or various scientific works and various scientific disciplines in the form of abstract books, articles and so on.
