Abstract

This research aims to improve collaboration skills through the application of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model in the science content of grade IV SDN Kedurus III, from the initial data it was found that the level of collaboration between students was still low, because students did not do enough discussion activities which resulted in difficulties in grouping. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out for 2 cycles with the Kemmis & Mc. Taggart model, namely Planning, (2) Implementation, (3) Observation and (4) Reflection of Results. The subjects of the study were 26 students. The data analysis techniques used in this study were descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The results of the study showed that the percentage of collaboration skills in the pre-cycle was 12 students 46.1% with a fairly collaborative category, in cycle I there were 14 students 57.7% with a good collaborative category and in cycle II there were 21 students (80.8%) with a very collaborative category. Based on these data, there is an increase in each cycle, thus the application of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model can improve students' collaboration skills.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' critical thinking skills in learning Indonesian through the application of the Problem Based Learning model with a Culturally Responsive Teaching approach in class IV-D at SDN Kedurus III/430 Surabaya. This type of research is collaborative classroom action research (PTKK). This research was carried out over two cycles which included planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques use observation and written tests. The subjects of this research were students in class IV-D at SDN Kedurus III/430 Surabaya, totaling 26 students. The resulting data shows an increase in critical thinking skills which can be proven by the results for two cycles. In the implementation of cycle I, the average percentage result was 56.15%, while cycle II obtained the average percentage result of 82.3%, resulting in an increase of 26.15%. Based on the presentation of these results, it can be concluded that the results of this research show that critical thinking skills by applying the Problem Based Learning model with a Culturally Responsive Teaching approach have increased significantly. This can be seen from the increase in the average percentage from cycle I and cycle II in class IV-D at SDN Kedurus III/430 Surabaya with information material, characters and problems in the odd semester stories of the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the critical thinking skills of students through the application of Monopoly learning media, this study was conducted for two learning cycles. Monopoly games can be used as media used by teachers in the teaching and learning process. Monopoly is an ancient game that has been developed throughout the world and then recreated into a learning medium. Through the use of monopoly learning media in class V D SDN Kedurus III / 430 Surabaya City, it can be seen that there has been an increase in the critical thinking skills of students in the learning process. This can be seen from the increase in critical thinking skills in cycle I, namely an increase in the percentage of 40.74% of 27 students who have obtained scores above learning achievement. Based on these data, it can be concluded that in cycle I, class V D students are classified in the "Quite Critical" category. In cycle II, there was an increase in critical thinking skills in class V D SDN Kedurus III / 430 Surabaya City. Class V D students who succeeded in achieving learning achievement obtained a percentage of 92.59%. Based on the data, it can be concluded that class V D SDN Kedurus III/430 Surabaya City is included in the "Very Critical" category.
