Abstract

Tradisi upacara Khataman Al-Qur’an dilandasi rasa cinta kepada kitabullah yang dipraktikan dari waktu ke waktu dengan penerapan yang merujuk pada sunnah Nabi SAW. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang fenomena sosial living hadis terkait kearifan lokal yang digelar masyarakat desa Pringgabaya kecamatan Lombok timur melalui tradisi upacara Namatang Qur’a>n yang menjunjung nilai nilai keushuluddinan sebagai sarana syiar Islam dalam memuliakan para ahlul Qur’an. Fokus Pembahasan dari penelitian ini adalah terkait bagaimana masyarakat desa Pringgabaya menjalankan Tradisi Khotmul Qur’an tersebut yang dibangun berdasarkan pengimplementasian nilai-nilai hadis Nabi Muhammad SAW dan dipengaruhi pula oleh kebudayaan kerajaan Selaparang abad 16M. Dalam proses pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan dua metode, yaitu wawancara dan studi literatur melalui metodologi penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif-analitis. Setelah melakukan penelitian, penulis berkesimpulan bahwa Tradisi Namatang Qur’an menjadi suatu upaya masyarakat untuk menghidupkan Hadis Nabi SAW pada era kontemporer. Penulis menemukan Hadis yang termaktub dalam kitab sunan Ad-Darimi yang menjadi sandaran epistemologis akan tradisi Namatang Qur’an. Hadis tersebut berada dalam tingkatan mauquf dengan jalur periwayatan yang shahih. Dengan demikian, Tradisi Namatang Qur’an digelar untuk menghidupkan sunnah Nabi SAW sebagai ungkapan rasa syukur kepada Tuhan yang maha Esa dalam pengimplementasian nilai-nilai keushuluddinan sekaligus melatih anak untuk mencintai al-quran sejak dini.

Abstract

This study examines how Abdullah ibn Abbas and other Companions contributed to the core principles of Qur'anic interpretation, focusing on their methods, characteristics, and relevance for today's challenges. Using a historical and qualitative approach, the research finds that the Companions' tafsir was a dynamic process that combined divine authority with contextual understanding and independent reasoning. Ibn Abbas relied on sources such as the Qur'an and Hadith with a focus on language and literature, while others, such as Ibn Mas'ud, took a more textual approach, and Ali ibn Abi Talib emphasised rational and ethical perspectives. The study also reviews criticisms about the chain of narration in the book Tanwīr al-Miqbās attributed to Ibn Abbas. In conclusion, the Companions' exegesis remains an important foundation but needs to be integrated with modern hermeneutical, thematic, and socio-cultural methods to address current issues. This approach turns the historical legacy into a dynamic source of inspiration for a more reflective and inclusive Islamic hermeneutics

Abstract

This study aims to analyze in depth the concept of fiqh al-aqalliyyat from the perspective of wasathiyyah based on the thought of Abdullah bin Bayyah, as well as explain the contribution of this concept to the development of minority Muslim fiqh today. The focus of the research is on the methodological aspect in the formation of Islamic law for minority Muslim communities who often face conflicts between the normative provisions of sharia and modern social conditions. This study uses a qualitative approach with normative and conceptual analysis methods of the main work of Abdullah bin Bayyah as a primary data source, supported by various jurisprudence literature and contemporary Islamic thought. The findings of the study show that there is a pattern of legal thinking that emphasizes maqāṣid al-syarī'ah, the principle of maslahat, and the value of moderation (wasathiyyah) as the main framework in Fiqh al-Aqalliyyat. The conclusion of the study underlines that the added value of this study lies in the systematic elaboration of the relationship between wasathiyyah and Fiqh al-Aqalliyyat, which has not been explicitly explained in previous research.
