Abstract

Masyarakat Desa Sampora, Kecamatan Cisauk, Kabupaten Tangerang menjadi mitra sasaran tim pengabdi Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya dalam melakukan kegiatan pengabdian. Kondisi Desa Sampora saat ini terletak di wilayah pembangunan yang sangat pesat. Namun, warganya tidak memiliki keterampilan yang cukup, masih banyak berpendidikan rendah, dan penduduk asli banyak yang kehilangan mata pencahariannya. Selain itu yang mendasari diadakan kegiatan pengabdian ini ialah kurangnya pemahaman dan pengetahuan masyarakat Desa Sampora tentang budi daya jamur kuping; masih ada warga yang ingin meningkatkan penghasilan dalam rumah tangga; dan adanya permintaan jamur kuping yang cukup tinggi di Indonesia. Berdasarkan permasalahan mitra tersebut, solusi yang dapat ditawarkan adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang budi daya jamur kuping dan mengarahkan masyarakat untuk menambah penghasilan keluarga dengan budi daya jamur kuping. Metode pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui empat tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, monitoring, dan evaluasi. Tahapan persiapan dilakukan dengan menyiapkan materi pengabdian, pembelian alat dan bahan untuk praktik budi daya jamur kuping. Kegiatan pelatihan budi daya jamur kuping meliputi teknik pembuatan medium, inokulasi, pemeliharaan medium tanam, menyiram medium tanam dan pemanenan. Sementara itu, tahap monitoring dan evaluasi dilakukan secara langsung mengunjungi mitra dan menggunakan sarana komunikasi WhatsApp Grup. Mitra sangat setuju (100%) bahwa kegiatan pengabdian ini berguna dan menambah pemahaman warga mengenai budi daya jamur kuping. Masyarakat Desa Sampora sukses melakukan budi daya jamur kuping secara mandiri sampai dengan panen.

Abstract

Wnt/Ryk signaling represents a critical yet underexplored branch of the Wnt pathway, with significant roles in embryonic development and tissue homeostasis. While canonical Wnt/β-catenin signaling has been extensively studied, emerging research highlights Ryk as a key noncanonical Wnt co-receptor influencing processes such as convergent extension, organogenesis, stem cell regulation, and inflammation. Wnt/Ryk signaling mediates diverse cellular outcomes through interactions with ligands like Wnt5a and Wnt11 and exhibits complex crosstalk with canonical pathways. Its dysregulation has been linked to developmental disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and cancer progression. This review summarizes current insights into Wnt/Ryk function during development and homeostasis, highlights its relevance in human health, and identifies open questions regarding its molecular mechanisms and therapeutic potential. A deeper understanding of this pathway may offer novel strategies for regenerative medicine and targeted treatments for Wnt-related diseases.
