Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of implementing the new Maintenance Work System (Sistem Tata Kerja or STK), enforced since 1 November 2024, in an oil and gas company, with a specific focus on the alignment between equipment criticality assessment outcomes and the revised STK requirements. The core issue lies in the potential shift in asset maintenance priorities and strategies due to misclassification of critical equipment, which may compromise operational reliability. The objective of this research is to revalidate the implementation of Equipment Criticality Assessment (ECA), Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) to ensure they are applied more effectively and efficiently in accordance with international standards—IEC 60300-3-11, IEC 60812, and ISO 14224. The methodology includes document analysis of relevant standards, literature review, and criticality assessment of 182 equipment units using the Reliability Block Diagram (RBD) approach and SAP-based classification systems. The results show that turbomachinery, particularly Gas Turbine Compressors (GTC), remain classified as Production Critical Equipment (PCE), while the glycol system, auxiliary compressors, and gas metering units have been reclassified as secondary or supporting assets. The study recommends strengthening the technical competencies of the maintenance team, applying logic decision tree methodologies in the analytical process, and integrating evaluation outcomes into work scheduling policies and spare parts management. These findings offer practical contributions to the optimization of reliability-based maintenance systems and support more precise technical decision-making in the governance of strategic assets within the oil and gas sector.

Abstract

Many researchers are unsure which software to use for quantitative research data analysis because there is no research comparing different software options. This study aims to compare the results of using Smart-PLS and SPSS software for analyzing quantitative data in the field of supply chain management. The study analyzed data from 231 respondents using questionnaires with three variables: lean supply chain strategy, agile supply chain strategy, and sustainable performance. The analysis focused on hypothesis testing and regression analysis, which measures the influence of independent variables on dependent variables. The study found that both Smart-PLS and SPSS software produced significant results in terms of p-value, t-value, determination value, and correlation value. This research is unique because it provides a comparative analysis of Smart-PLS and SPSS software.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of coastal Lampung customary values with Islamic teachings in fostering social harmony in Negeri Olok Gading Subdistrict, Bandar Lampung. Employing a qualitative approach, the findings reveal that traditional structures such as Kebandaran, title bestowal (Adok), as well as communal traditions like tahlilan and nughun, continue to be preserved without exhibiting a dichotomy between custom and religion. Instead, customary practices function as a cultural medium for the transmission of Islamic values. Traditional leaders, including Pangeran and Punyimbang, play a pivotal role in promoting religious moderation and maintaining a balance between tradition and Islamic law. This study proposes an integrative model through the concept of Islamic Community Development and Empowerment (ICDE), grounded in the principles of justice, participation, and mutual assistance. Guided by the framework of Maqasid al-Shari’ah, this empowerment model emphasizes the protection of five essential dimensions religion, life, intellect, wealth, and lineage through the hierarchical priorities of dharuriyyat, hajiyyat, and tahsiniyyat. The al-‘urf methodology is employed to legitimize established societal customs as a basis for normative guidance, while the indigenization of Islam ensures the contextual realization of Qur’anic values within local cultural frameworks, in accordance with the legal maxim al-‘adah muhakkamah. The findings further demonstrate that the philosophy of Piil Pesenggiri encompassing the values of Bejuluk Adok, Nemui Nyimah, Nengah Nyapur, and Sakai Sembaian is philosophically aligned with Islamic principles such as muru’ah (dignity), silaturahmi (social bonding), ukhuwah (brotherhood), and ta‘awun (mutual cooperation). The proposed empowerment strategy includes strengthening spiritual, intellectual, and cultural capacities, exemplified by the establishment of the Sanggar Kebandaran Marga Balak as an initiative to preserve local wisdom and foster a harmonious, contextual, and inclusive religious life within a pluralistic society.
