Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of Al-Qur’an Hadith learning in the ninth grade at MTsN 3 Karawang, focusing on student engagement in the learning process. Interview results show that student participation in Al-Qur’an Hadith lessons tends to fluctuate and is greatly influenced by their mood and personal motivation. One of the main challenges is students’ difficulty in reading the Al-Qur’an or Arabic letters, which makes them less enthusiastic about following the lessons. To address this, the teacher provides exercises in writing Arabic letters and memorization tests, as well as strives to boost students’ enthusiasm through support, motivation, and humor in the classroom. These findings emphasize the importance of a flexible approach and emotional support from teachers to encourage students to be more active and interested in learning Al-Qur’an Hadith

Abstract

Perkembangan pendidikan menuntut sekolah tidak hanya fokus pada akademik, tetapi juga pembentukan karakter, keterampilan sosial, dan kesiapan karier siswa. Layanan bimbingan dan konseling (BK) memiliki peran strategis dalam membantu siswa mengenali potensi diri, memahami lingkungan sosial, serta mengambil keputusan tepat bagi masa depan, namun pemanfaatannya di MAN 2 Karawang belum optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap guru BK dan peserta didik. Analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta divalidasi menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa layanan BK di MAN 2 Karawang dilaksanakan melalui bimbingan kelompok, konseling individu, dan kegiatan kolaboratif antar guru. Guru BK berperan sebagai fasilitator dalam menanamkan nilai toleransi, empati, dan keterbukaan. Kegiatan ini efektif meningkatkan kesadaran siswa terhadap perbedaan, membentuk karakter positif, dan mendukung perencanaan karier. Implementasi layanan BK berkontribusi nyata terhadap pengembangan karakter, kemampuan sosial, dan kesiapan karier siswa, meskipun masih diperlukan peningkatan kompetensi guru dan sarana pendukung agar layanan lebih optimal.

Abstract

This project aims to enhance students' learning outcomes in Tajwid (Quran recitation) by using a demonstration technique for Grade 5 at SDN Pasirkamuning I during the 2025/2026 academic year. The used approach was action research (PTK), grounded on the Kemmis and McTaggart framework, including the phases of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research was carried out across two cycles involving 28 fifth-grade pupils. Data were gathered using both qualitative and quantitative descriptive methodologies. The results demonstrate that the demonstrative style was helpful in enhancing student engagement in Tajwid courses. Students exhibited heightened engagement, enhanced self-assurance, and improved comprehension of the rules governing the reading of “nun mati” and “tanwin” via direct recitation of the Quran. The average score in the first cycle was 80, accompanied by a success rate of 81%. During the second cycle, there was an improvement in student engagement and comprehension of Tajwid content, despite a success rate of 77%. The presentation approach provides a more experiential learning opportunity, facilitating students' comprehension of abstract subjects. This method enables instructors to cultivate a more interactive and stimulating learning atmosphere. Consequently, the demonstrative method may provide as a successful tool for enhancing children's Tajwid learning results in primary education.
