Abstract

Long jump training for young athletes requires a systematic, structured approach that aligns with the characteristics of the child's physical and psychological development. One strategy considered effective in developing technical and fundamental movement skills is the graduated training method. This literature review aims to analyze the implementation of the graduated training method in long jump training for young athletes. The analysis was conducted through a review of various recent scientific sources discussing motor skill development, graduated training, and long jump technique instruction for beginners.The study results indicate that the graduated training method significantly contributes to improving athletes' understanding of basic techniques, motor coordination, muscle strength, and consistent performance. The training model, which progresses from simple to complex stages, such as basic running, the start, the takeoff, the glide, and the landing, has been shown to help young athletes gradually adapt to the demands of long jump technique without causing excessive physical and mental stress. Furthermore, the graduated approach also strengthens athletes' motivation and self-confidence, thus supporting long-term performance. Therefore, the graduated training method is recommended as a relevant and effective learning strategy for early-age long jump training.

Abstract

Kesehatan mental menjadi salah satu komponen penting dalam dunia olahraga modern karena berkaitan langsung dengan performa atlet, kualitas komunikasi, dan efektivitas proses kepelatihan. Studi literatur ini bertujuan menelaah bagaimana kesehatan mental berkontribusi terhadap optimalisasi proses kepelatihan olahraga, khususnya melalui hubungan antara pelatih dan atlet, kemampuan regulasi emosi, motivasi, serta pengambilan keputusan dalam situasi kompetitif. Temuan berbagai penelitian terbaru menunjukkan bahwa pelatih yang memiliki literasi kesehatan mental yang baik mampu menciptakan lingkungan latihan yang suportif, mengurangi risiko burnout, meningkatkan kepercayaan diri atlet, dan memperkuat iklim psikologis positif dalam tim. Selain itu, kesehatan mental terbukti berperan dalam menurunkan tingkat stres, kecemasan kompetitif, serta meningkatkan fokus dan konsistensi performa. Pelatih yang menerapkan pendekatan holistis dengan memperhatikan faktor psikologis dan sosial terbukti lebih efektif dalam mengembangkan potensi atlet dibandingkan pelatih yang hanya berfokus pada aspek teknis maupun fisik. Studi ini juga menegaskan bahwa intervensi psikologis seperti mindfulness training, konseling olahraga, dan pendekatan motivasional terbukti berhasil meningkatkan kualitas proses kepelatihan. Dengan demikian, kesehatan mental merupakan elemen yang tidak terpisahkan dari efektivitas kepelatihan olahraga, sehingga perlu integrasi yang kuat dalam kurikulum pelatihan, program pembinaan, dan kebijakan organisasi olahraga. Studi ini memberikan rekomendasi untuk memperkuat pelatihan kesehatan mental bagi pelatih, penerapan screening psikologis berkala, serta pengembangan lingkungan latihan yang berbasis pada well-being atlet untuk mencapai performa optimal.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong transformasi signifikan dalam pendidikan kepelatihan olahraga, termasuk pada cabang tenis meja. Salah satu inovasi yang semakin banyak diterapkan adalah konsep smart coaching, yaitu pendekatan pelatihan yang memadukan teknologi analisis video dengan model pembelajaran taktis untuk meningkatkan keterampilan atlet. Studi literatur ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas integrasi analisis video dan pembelajaran taktis sebagai strategi yang dapat mengoptimalkan performa atlet pemula. Analisis video memberikan pelatih kemampuan untuk mengidentifikasi kesalahan teknik secara lebih akurat, mengukur konsistensi pukulan, memantau footwork, serta mengevaluasi pengambilan keputusan atlet dalam berbagai situasi pertandingan. Sementara itu, pembelajaran taktis berfokus pada pengembangan kemampuan membaca permainan, memahami pola serangan dan pertahanan, serta meningkatkan kreativitas atlet dalam merespons dinamika permainan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi kedua pendekatan ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas teknik dasar, efisiensi gerak, kecerdasan bermain, dan kepercayaan diri atlet pemula. Selain itu, smart coaching membantu pelatih merancang strategi latihan yang lebih personal, adaptif, dan berbasis data. Implementasi integrasi analisis video dan pembelajaran taktis juga terbukti mampu mempercepat proses belajar motorik, meminimalkan kesalahan berulang, dan meningkatkan motivasi atlet melalui visualisasi progres latihan. Dengan demikian, konsep smart coaching menjadi strategi inovatif yang relevan dan efektif untuk pendidikan kepelatihan olahraga modern, khususnya dalam pembinaan atlet tenis meja pemula di era digital.

Abstract

Learning long jump techniques in sports coaching education requires training methods that are not only effective but also capable of increasing athlete motivation and engagement. One emerging approach is the use of games as a training method. This literature review aims to analyze the effectiveness of a game-based approach in improving long jump technical skills, including the run-up, take-off, airborne, and landing. A review of several studies conducted between 2018 and 2024 indicates that game-based methods significantly improve motor coordination, explosive leg muscle power, and rhythmic movement ability compared to conventional training approaches. This approach has also been shown to increase self-confidence, training enthusiasm, and concentration in both beginner and elementary and secondary school athletes. Furthermore, game-based learning is considered more adaptive to the psychological development of young athletes because it provides a fun, competitive, and non-monotonous atmosphere. This study concludes that game-based training methods are highly relevant for application in the context of sports coaching education, particularly in long jump instruction, as they can improve technical performance, motivation, and the learning experience of athletes. Further research is recommended to develop more structured game models and analyze their impact on improving the performance of advanced athletes.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has significantly influenced training methods in various sports, including badminton. One recent innovation that has attracted attention is the use of digital tracking systems in footwork training to improve athletes' speed and efficiency. This literature review aims to analyze the application of tracking technologies such as motion sensors, sports analytics applications, and IoT-based devices in optimizing badminton players' movement patterns. The literature reviewed was compiled from national and international journals published between 2018 and 2024, covering footwork training, digital technology in sports, and athlete performance. The study results show that digital tracking can provide real-time feedback, quantitative analysis of movement patterns, and enable personalized training programs based on individual weaknesses. This technology has also been shown to improve reaction speed, coordination, and stride efficiency compared to conventional methods. Furthermore, the use of digital tracking helps coaches identify suboptimal movement zones, correct errors, and improve the quality of athlete development monitoring. However, challenges such as device cost, limited access, and the need for coaches to maintain technological literacy remain barriers to implementation. This study concludes that innovative digital tracking-based footwork training has significant potential to become a new standard in developing modern badminton athletes. Further research is recommended to explore the effectiveness of this technology across various age levels and competitive levels.
