Abstract

This study investigates the effects of work-life balance and the workplace environment on job performance, with perceived organizational support (POS) serving as a moderating variable. The study addresses a research gap by focusing on staff members at locally branded five-star hotels in Jakarta and integrates these variables into a single model within a local organizational framework. A quantitative approach was employed using a standardized online questionnaire. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to examine the data, and bootstrapping was used for moderation analysis. The findings show that job environment and work-life balance significantly impact job performance. Furthermore, the association between work environment and job performance is strongly moderated by POS, but not between work-life balance and job performance. These findings suggest that organizational support has a contextual influence and is more effective at improving job performance through working conditions than through personal balance variables.  The study contributes to the literature by exploring how internal and perceived external factors influence employee performance, particularly within locally branded hotel settings

Abstract

Transformasi komunikasi budaya ke ruang digital membuat pelatih seni tradisional semakin bergantung pada media sosial, namun pada saat yang sama meningkatkan kerentanan terhadap cyberbullying. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami pemaknaan pelatih Sanggar Tari dan Seni Tradisional Ayodya Pala terhadap cyberbullying, menganalisis dampak psikososial dan sosial yang ditimbulkan, serta merumuskan strategi pencegahan berbasis nilai budaya yang dikembangkan komunitas. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap tiga pelatih aktif yang dipilih secara purposif dan dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cyberbullying dimaknai sebagai kekerasan digital yang muncul melalui komentar negatif terhadap penampilan, impersonasi akun, serta penyebaran konten yang merusak reputasi. Dampak yang dirasakan meliputi penurunan kepercayaan diri, tekanan emosional, rasa tidak aman, serta perubahan relasi sosial antara pelatih, murid, dan komunitas. Media sosial dipandang secara ambivalen sebagai sarana promosi budaya sekaligus sumber risiko psikososial. Sebagai respons, pelatih mengembangkan strategi pencegahan berbasis nilai budaya, meliputi penanaman etika komunikasi digital, dukungan relasional, dan edukasi literasi digital internal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa literasi digital berbasis nilai budaya relevan untuk membangun ruang digital yang aman bagi komunitas seni tradisional dan merekomendasikan penguatan kode etik digital serta pendampingan komunitas yang berkelanjutan.
