Abstract

By utilizing visual media such as videos and picture cards, this method aims to enhance students' understanding of Arabic vocabulary. This study was conducted at As-Salma Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang, involving class A as the control group and class B as the experimental group. Using a quantitative approach and quasi-experimental design, the instruments employed were multiple-choice test, and data analysis was performed using the t-test. The results demonstrate that contextual learning based on visual-spatial intelligence successfully aids students understanding arabic vocabulary. Class B achieved a perfect score of 28.57%, while the control class had no students reached a perfect score. Additionally, 14.29% of students in class B required further guidance, whereas 38.1% of students in the control class needed assistance. The t-test results showed a t-value of 3.40 with a p-value of 0.0008, which is lower than the significance level. This indicates that contextual learning based on visual-spatial intelligence is effective to improved the understanding of Arabic vocabulary among beginner students.

Abstract

Perkembangan motorik kasar anak usia dini di PAUD Qonita Kota Bima belum menunjukkan capaian yang optimal. Hal ini terlihat dari masih adanya anak yang mengalami kesulitan dalam melakukan gerakan melompat, menjaga keseimbangan tubuh, mengikuti irama, serta kurang percaya diri saat mengikuti aktivitas fisik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perkembangan motorik kasar anak melalui kegiatan senam fantasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan subjek 15 anak kelompok B berusia 5–6 tahun. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, penilaian unjuk kerja, catatan lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan secara bertahap, yaitu pada tahap prasiklus sebanyak 40% anak mencapai kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH) dan Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB), kemudian meningkat menjadi 60% pada Siklus I, dan mencapai 80% pada Siklus II sehingga melampaui indikator keberhasilan sebesar 75%. Peningkatan juga tampak pada kemampuan gerak lokomotor, keseimbangan, koordinasi, gerak berirama, keberanian, serta partisipasi aktif anak dalam pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, senam fantasi dapat dinyatakan efektif untuk meningkatkan perkembangan motorik kasar anak usia dini.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Arab di madrasah masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, terutama rendahnya keterampilan berbicara (maharah al-kalam) yang dipengaruhi oleh penerapan metode pembelajaran yang kurang variatif, rendahnya partisipasi siswa, dan minimnya kesempatan untuk berlatih berkomunikasi secara aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan Cooperative Learning dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab serta mendeskripsikan kontribusinya terhadap pengembangan keterampilan berbicara siswa di MA Muhammadiyah Kota Bima. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña yang meliputi kondensasi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Cooperative Learning mampu menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, kolaboratif, dan berpusat pada siswa. Model pembelajaran ini meningkatkan partisipasi, motivasi belajar, keberanian berkomunikasi, serta interaksi antarsiswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan perkembangan dalam penguasaan kosakata, kelancaran berbicara, dan kemampuan menyampaikan gagasan menggunakan bahasa Arab. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa Cooperative Learning merupakan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam mendukung pengembangan maharah al-kalam sekaligus menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih bermakna. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi guru bahasa Arab untuk menerapkan pembelajaran kolaboratif sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di madrasah.

Abstract

The purpose of this scientific journal article is to analyze the application of number puzzle games to improve children's fine motor skills at Aisyiah Kindergarten in Bima City. The background context of the research at the location is based on initial observations through classroom action, which revealed that some children were still unable to arrange letters according to rules and sequences, and then experienced difficulty arranging numbers (for example, 1 to 10) in descending (ascending or ascending) logical order. This often occurs because children do not yet understand the relationship between number symbols and the quantity (number) of objects presented, or have not yet mastered the concept of number sequence. The method in this study uses a qualitative descriptive analytical research method, with a classroom action approach. Classroom action research (CAR) is a practical research that is intended to improve classroom learning. Classroom action research also uses direct observation data on the course of the learning model that will be used to convey the digestive system material in class. The data is analyzed through several stages in a cycle consisting of 4 stages, namely, (1) planning, (2) implementation of actions, (3) observation (observation), and (4) reflection. The spiritual form of action work from the cycle in this study is as follows: CYCLE 1. 1.) Planning, 2.) Implementation of Actions, 3.) Observation (observation). CYCLE II. From the implementation of Cycle II based on the reflection of Cycle I, it is an improvement on the weaknesses or failures of learning in Cycle I, Cycle II is an improvement on the weaknesses or failures of learning in the first cycle. The techniques used in this study were tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. Tests were conducted with researchers to measure initial reading abilities (pre-test), direct observations were conducted when the test was given to students, then structured interviews with teachers and students, and documentation and other supporting data related to the research. In conclusion, based on the results of the research above, the application of number puzzle game media plays an effective and practical role in improving fine motor skills in students, because the number puzzle game media can support cognitive development, recognizing numbers, mathematical logistics, solving problems, and has a positive effect in improving fine motor skills in early childhood. Thus, an educator, teacher, and parent can provide stimulus to early childhood in the form of game media with number puzzles to improve fine motor skills in early childhood, preschool children. In addition, game media with number puzzles can be done routinely and continuously to improve fine motor skills in early childhood until the growth and development of early adulthood.
