Abstract

Abstract - The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly increased the risk of cyber threats across various sectors, including government, industry, and everyday life. Cyberattacks such as malware, phishing, ransomware, and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) have become increasingly sophisticated and difficult to detect. This study aims to examine various strategies and approaches for mitigating cyber threats that have been developed and implemented in recent years. The methodology employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 20 relevant scholarly articles published between 2018 and 2024. The findings reveal that effective mitigation strategies include the implementation of multi-layered defense systems, the use of artificial intelligence for early threat detection, and the enhancement of cybersecurity awareness among users. Additionally, robust policy frameworks and inter-agency collaboration play a vital role in managing cyber risks. The main challenges identified include a shortage of skilled personnel, uneven technological infrastructure, and the rapid evolution of attack techniques. Therefore, an integrated approach encompassing technical, organizational, and policy aspects is essential to address cyber threats in the era of digital transformation. Keywords: Cybersecurity; Threat Mitigation; Digital Technology; Defense Strategy; Systematic Literature Review.
