Abstract

This research explores how what customers look at, how they feel, and how well they know the brand affect their decision to buy at Starbucks in Indonesia. Because there are more and more coffee shops competing, especially in cities, it's very important to know how customers react to things they see, feel, and think about. We used a numbers-based method, gathering information from 210 people using set questions, and then examined the data using a special statistical technique called Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The data indicates that what customers focus on visually greatly influences their desire to buy, indicating that compelling visual elements such as product presentation, packaging, and store ambiance capture consumer focus and enhance their willingness to buy. Emotional engagement also demonstrates a strong influence, suggesting that consumers’ affective connection with Starbucks’ brand identity and experience significantly drives their purchasing decisions. Additionally, brand familiarity positively affects purchase intention by reinforcing trust and reducing uncertainty in consumer choices. The results underscore how crucial it is to combine methods that focus on what people see, how they feel, and what they think about a brand to influence what customers do. This study contributes both theoretically and practically by offering insights into how marketing strategies can be optimized to strengthen purchase intention in a highly competitive market such as Indonesia’s coffee industry.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of authoritarian leadership style, workplace facilities, and job stress on employee performance at PT Nidec Instruments Bekasi. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 86 employees of the company and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, the coefficient of determination, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The results reveal that authoritarian leadership style, workplace facilities, and job stress significantly affect employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) test indicates that 67.9% of the variation in employee performance is explained by the independent variables—authoritarian leadership style, workplace facilities, and job stress—while the remaining 32.1% is influenced by other factors not included in this research model. Furthermore, the F-test results show that these three variables, when examined simultaneously, have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with an F-calculated value of 57.740, which is greater than the F-table value of 2.71.

This study examines Sharia & Conventional Banking Companies registered with the OJK in 2021-2024. The population in this study is all Sharia & Conventional Banks registered with the OJK in 2021-2024, totaling 106 Sharia & Conventional Banks. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, which uses specific criteria to select samples. Therefore, the sample size for this study was 85 companies over the four years of the study. Data collection carried out in this study was by using literature studies and documentation. Testing of the research hypothesis was carried out using the Econometric Eviews 12 approach. The results of the study indicate that independent commissioners, audit committees, managerial ownership, and internal audit have no effect on financial performance. Abstract

The rapid growth of digital technology has transformed the tourism industry by changing how tourists search for information and make travel decisions. In cultural tourism destinations, digital marketing, brand image, and tourist engagement are considered important factors influencing tourists’ behavioral intentions. This study aims to examine the effects of Digital Marketing, Brand Image, and Tourist Engagement on tourists’ visit intention toward Cirebon Batik Cultural Tourism, particularly in the Trusmi Batik Area and Kampung Batik Ciwaringin. A quantitative approach with an explanatory research design was employed. Data were collected from 220 respondents using a structured questionnaire distributed through Google Forms. The study utilized purposive sampling and analyzed the data using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4. The measurement model was evaluated through tests of validity and reliability, while the structural model was assessed using bootstrapping procedures. This research contributes to the tourism and marketing literature by extending the application of the Theory of Planned Behavior in cultural tourism contexts and providing insights for destination managers in developing effective strategies to enhance tourists’ intention to visit cultural heritage destinations.
