Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze the practice of strategic planning in Islamic education at two Muhammadiyah elementary schools, namely SD Muhammadiyah Terpadu Sendang Agung and SD Muhammadiyah Bandar Jaya. The background of this research departs from the importance of institutional strategies in responding to the challenges of Islamic education in the midst of social, cultural, and national education policy changes. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results of the study show that both schools have formulated a vision and mission that reflects Islamic values through a participatory process. The main challenges faced include limited resources, the influence of external values, and a weak understanding of strategic management. The implementation of the strategy is carried out through various religious programs and strengthening governance, but its effectiveness depends on leadership and stakeholder involvement. The evaluation of strategies typically takes an administrative approach and lacks long-term evaluative tools. This research emphasizes the importance of a comprehensive strategic evaluation system and the repositioning of policies based on data and Islamic values. These findings make a theoretical and practical contribution to the development of Islamic education management at the primary school level.

Abstract

Independent learning ability is an essential competence in improving the quality of human resources in an era of rapid change. However, rural communities generally lack adequate independent learning strategies, while rich local wisdom has not been optimally utilized as a learning resource. This community service program aims to develop a training model for independent learning strategies based on local wisdom in five village communities in Central Lampung Regency. The implementation methods included interactive workshops, peer learning groups, individual mentoring, and communal reflection conducted over seven months involving 350 residents, 180 cultural and traditional leaders, and 120 village community administrators. The results showed a 119% increase in independent learning strategies, a 306% increase in the use of local wisdom as learning resources, and a 225% increase in community learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe a parenting-based inclusive early childhood learning model in families in Metro City. The study used a qualitative approach with field research, with parents of children with special needs such as ADHD, dyslexia, and speech delay as subjects. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, while data analysis used the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results showed that the parenting-based inclusive learning model was implemented through five main stages: identification and assessment of children's needs, adjustment of learning materials and activities, implementation of educational play activities, active involvement of parents as companions, and periodic evaluation and adjustment. The learning process takes place flexibly, naturally, and is based on daily experiences within the family, with parents as the primary educators who adjust learning strategies based on the child's conditions and needs. Educational play activities are the main medium in stimulating children's cognitive, social, and language development. Active parental involvement in ongoing mentoring and evaluation is a determining factor in learning success. The research findings indicate that this model is effective in supporting the development of children with special needs, although it still requires strengthening in terms of systematization and professional support for optimal implementation.
