Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap perkembangan emosional dan prestasi akademik siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Uluiwoi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei melalui penyebaran kuesioner skala Likert kepada 33 siswa kelas IX serta 10 guru mata pelajaran sebagai penilain tambahan terhadap prestasi akademik. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan regresi linier melalui SPSS Versi 29. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 60,61% siswa memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi, sedangkan 87,88% siswa memiliki perkembangan emosional yang baik. Analisis regresi mengungkapkan bahwa motivasi belajar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan emosional (R = 0,612; p < 0,001) dan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi akademik (R = 0,431; p = 0,017). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi motivasi belajar yang dimiliki siswa, semakin baik pengelolaan emosinya sehingga berdampak positif pada pencapaian akademik. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan motivasi intrinsik dan stabilitas emosional dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran pada sekolah pedalaman seperti SMP Negeri 1 Uluiwoi.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the humanistic values in the Qur’an that are relevant to educational interaction, their implementation in teacher student interaction, and the factors influencing their application at SMP Negeri 1 Uluiwoi. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive analytical method. Data were collected through observation, in depth interviews, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, and students, and were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the dominant Qur’anic humanistic values in educational interaction include respect for human dignity, justice, compassion and empathy, as well as moral responsibility and exemplarity. These values have been implemented in a relatively humanistic and dialogical manner in both classroom and school interactions, although their application has not been entirely consistent in certain situations. Supporting factors include teachers’ religious understanding and a conducive school culture, while inhibiting factors involve time constraints, teachers’ administrative workload, and students’ social environments. This study underscores that integrating Qur’anic humanistic values into educational interaction is essential for strengthening character education within the framework of Islamic education.
