Abstract

      Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan kreativitas kerja ilmiah siswa. Penelitian ini berlatar belakang atas masalah kurangnya motivasi dan kerja ilmiah siswa serta sumber air bleng yang belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan desain eksperimen dengan bentuk Pre-Experimental Design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas IX di MTs PSA Manba’ul Qur’an yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan 26 maret sampai 21 April 2016. Data penelitian diperoleh dari lembar observasi untuk aktivitas belajar siswa, soal pretest dan posttest untuk hasil belajar siswa dan angket untuk skala sikap serta motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitiannya berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh hasil baik untuk kelas eksperimen, Hal tersebut berarti data terdistribusi normal sehingga digunakan statistik parametris. Dari analisis data diperolehan rata-rata n- gain motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 0,536 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Hal ini berarti motivasi belajar siswa meningkat. Pembelajaran fisika dengan metode eksperimen menggunakan air bleng dan garam dapur juga mampu meningkatkan kinerja ilmiah siswa siswa. Peningkatan ini dibuktikan dengan nilai rata-rata kinerja ilmiah siswa dalam pertemuan I diperoleh 63 dan meningkat menjadi 79.

Abstract

The development of science and technology encourages various reform efforts in the learning process. Meanwhile, teachers are required to be able to utilize information and communication technology for self-development. Android is one of the most popular operating systems today. The purpose of this research is to make android instructional media that has the appropriate characteristics so that it is suitable for high school students. The development of this medium follows the Borg and Gall groove that has been simplified by the Center for Policy Research and Innovation consisting of 4 stages of needs analysis, initial design, validation and revision, small-scale and revised trials. In the development study, the learning medium has been validated by an expert validator with 77.53% results or is eligible to use. Trial program conducted by students at 2nd Muhammadiyah Senior High School at Magelang city with a result of 68.82% or eligible to use. Research data collection method used is observations, questionnaires and documentation. Based on data analysis then in this study can be concluded android learning media on parabolic motion material can be used as alternative learning resources with offline characteristics, practice questions and android operating system specifications minimum 5.0.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi alat praktikum pembiasan cahaya untuk meningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 di MAN 2 Rembang. Sampel yang digunakan adalah dua kelas, yaitu XI MIA 2 (kelas eksperimen) dan XI MIA 3 (kelas kontrol). Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibanding kelas kontrol. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada aktivitas siswa saat praktikum, yaitu untuk kelas ekperimen mendapat nilai sebesar 94,5%, sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 86,5%. Selain dari aktivitas siswa saat praktikum, implementasi alat praktikum pembiasan cahaya juga berpengaruh terhadap hasil kognitif siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji N-gain, untuk kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas eksperimen didapatkan nilai 0,60, sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol didapatkan nilai 0,53. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah  implementasi alat praktikum pembiasan cahaya dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa.   The aim of this research is to know the effect of the implementation practicum tools of light refraction to improve problem solving ability of the students. The study was conducted in the even semester of the academic year 2017/2018 at MAN 2 Rembang. The samples used are two classes, namely XI MIA 2 (experimental class) and XI MIA 3 (control class). Sampling in this research using purposive sampling technique. The result of this research show that the experimental class is better than in control class. It can be seen in the activities of students during practicum, namely for the experimental class to get a score of 94,5% while for the control class 86,5%. In ddition from activities of students, implementation of refraction of light practical tools also influences student’s cognitive outcomes. Based on the results of the N-gain test, for the student’s experimental class problem solving abilities obtained a value of 0,60, while the control class obtained a value of 0,53. The conclusions from this research is the implemementation  of refraction of light practical tools can increase the problem solving ability of the students.

Abstract

This study aims to create the design of resultant force vector teaching aids to help improving students? concept understandings. The method of this study is the experimental method with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sample of this study is the tenth grade of 3 natural science class (X IPA 3) as the experimental class and the tenth grade of 4 natural science class (X IPA 4) as the control class at 1 Subah Senior High School. The vector teaching aids were tested for the validity by the validator using a questionnaire. The students? responses were measured using a questionnaire. The students? concept understandings were measured from the results of the pretest and posttest scores. The result of the teaching aids? feasibility test is 98.61%, showing that the teaching aids are very feasible to use. The increase of students? concept understandings measured by the students? learning outcomes in the experimental class after using the resultant force vector teaching aids is 0.7 included in the high category. The attitude and interest responses of the students after using the teaching aids get an average percentage of 71.06% included in the high category.
