Abstract

This research is driven by the rapid development of digital technology that encourages innovation in learning and assessment processes, particularly through the use of digital assessment tools. The aim of this research is to analyze how Educaplay serves as a digital evaluation tool in Islamic Education (PAI) learning at SMA Sabilurrosyad Malang. This research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive quantitative design. The subjects of this study were 20 of tenth-grade students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results show that the use of Educaplay, particularly the Froggy Jumps feature, facilitates the assessment process, enhances students’ activeness, motivation, and understanding. Educaplay provides convenience for teachers in evaluating student performance through automatic scoring systems. However, several challenges were identified, including unstable internet connections, limited access to facilities, and varying levels of students’ digital literacy. Therefore, the use of Educaplay as a digital assessment tool in PAI learning is effective but requires adequate infrastructure and digital readiness.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the issue of fragmentation between religion, philosophy, and science, which has often been debated. In this regard, al-Farabi contributed his thoughts on the relationship between religion, philosophy, and science. The purpose of this study is to explain al-Farabi's thoughts on religion, philosophy, and science, and to explain their relevance to the development of the Islamic Education curriculum in the contemporary era. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature review. The results of this study conclude that al-Farabi's thoughts offer an approach that integrates religion, philosophy, and science. He places revelation and reason in harmony as sources of divine truth. The relevance of al-Farabi's thoughts to the Islamic Religious Education curriculum in the contemporary era lies in the importance of creating an educational system that balances spiritual, moral, and intellectual aspects. The Islamic Religious Education curriculum should aim to shape individuals who are religious, critical, and able to adapt to developments in science and technology.   Keywords: Al-Farabi, Religion, Philosophy, Science, Islamic Religious Education Curriculum
