Abstract

The concept of child education nowadays mainly adopted from the West which is developed base on secular-positivistic-materialistic worldview although Muslim scholars already developed the concept of child education in past period. However, the researcher identify the gap in Islamic intellectual heritage regarding prior studies on the concept of Ibn Qayyim and Al-Ghazali is in partial and no study was conducted in comprehensive manner with regard to Ibnu Qayyim and Al-Ghazali conception on child education and its implication on contemporary Islamic education.The aim of this study is to compare the concept of Ibn Qayyim and Al-Ghazali on child education and reveals its implications for contemporary Islamic education.This research is a library research. The data gathering technique used is documentation. Data analysis utilize in this research are content, linguistic, concept, history and comparative analysis. The results of this research indicate that the concept of child education according to Ibnu Qayyim and Al-Ghazali have certain degree of similarity than its difference. Their concept developed profoundly insight on human nature, knowledge and values derived from Al-Quran and As-Sunnah. Ibnu Qayyim conception on child education classify as perennials-essentials salafi, where is Al-Ghazali conception clasified as perennials-essentials mazhabi. Meanwhile, the concept of Ibnu Qayyim and Al-Ghazali on child nature categories is considered as theory convergences Theo centrism. The mayor differences between two conception lays on utilisation certain key term, some aspects of education discuss separately by Ibnu Qayyim while Al-Ghazali tends to use more general term.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to find out how the process of strengthening digital literacy is in anticipating student misuse of technology and how strategies for strengthening digital literacy are carried out in anticipating student misuse of technology at SDI Nurul Jadid Singosari. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data analysis used for collection, presentation and drawing conclusions. This type of research uses a case study type by focusing on one problem that you want to know and understand in depth and holistically. The results of the research reveal the process of strengthening digital literacy in anticipating misuse of student technology. It concludes that the process of strengthening digital literacy is carried out directly, which is included in the curriculum, such as directing students when they first enter as new students and enriching routine activities once every three months in collaboration with parents to anticipate The misuse of digital technology is then carried out indirectly, namely strengthening literacy carried out by teachers even though it is not included in the curriculum either inside or outside the classroom. The strategy to strengthen literacy is carried out by the school and teachers following activities listed in the curriculum related to direction, guidance and understanding the use of digital technology. However, in this strategy to strengthen digital literacy, the school gives authority to teachers regarding how the concept and method of strengthening literacy is carried out.

Abstract

A surge in bullying cases is currently occurring among students and schools in various regions, currently boomeranging and going viral on Indonesian social media. This writing aims to explain, firstly to find out the role of PAI teachers in preventing bullying at school, secondly to find out teachers' strategies in preventing bullying at school. This research uses qualitative methods, the research subject is direct, the type of research carried out is field study. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. To increase students' awareness of bullying, several efforts have been made including collaboration between teachers and school residents, speaking approaches to students, and strengthening students' morals. The strategies implemented include collaborating and collaborating with psychologists to discuss psychology, good communication with students' guardians to exchange information, inform each other about conditions and inform students about their condition. The PAI teacher's strategy is to find and find out the root of the problem of bullying, and provide moral and moral advice to students during morning assembly and open space for anyone who wants to report bullying. call victims and perpetrators of bullying to resolve problems that occur by mediating.

Abstract

Literacy is the axis of efforts to improve the quality of human life. Therefore, literacy is the axis of the educational vortex. Literacy ability has a very important role and is a demand for skills needed in the 21st century. Through a broad understanding of existing sources of knowledge, it makes a person more introspective and chooses various positive values and practices them as a means of self-actualization in everyday life. Positive character can be formed through habituation from an early age so that applying religious literacy in elementary schools can be one of the efforts in shaping student character. This research uses a qualitative approach (qualitative reaserch), with a type of case study research. Data collected in this study through interview, observation, and documentation techniques. While the data analysis used is by collecting data, presenting data, condensing data and drawing conclusions / verification. The results of this study show that activities to strengthen religious literacy as a shaper of religious character have run well. This can be seen from several stages carried out, namely 1) habituation to reading 15 minutes before learning; 2) environmental development from physical, social, affective aspects and 3) learning in the classroom which is carried out in several stages, namely: reading, writing, listening and speaking which is carried out well at school. Meanwhile, there are also several supporting and inhibiting factors of the maximum achievement target of the religious literacy movement.

Abstract

This research explores the application of multiculturalism values in the teaching of Islamic Religious Education at SMAN 1 Kota Batu. Considering that Indonesia is a country with diverse ethnicities, nations, and religions, an inclusive educational strategy is needed to enhance tolerance and respect for differences. This research's primary focus is on the planning and implementation of multiculturalism values in the teaching of Islamic Religious Education. With a case study methodology, this research employs a qualitative approach. Observation, interviews, and documentation were used to gather data. The findings of the study indicate that the planning aligns with the profile of Pancasila student reinforcement and the application of a contextual approach, teaching that includes cultural diversity, collaborative activities, and character education, thereby providing a positive effect on multiculturalism values in the teaching of Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

Religious culture is a representation of religious values which are used as traditions in behavior and culture by trying to produce students who behave well or have morals. The purpose of conducting this research is to describe and analyze the strategies of school principals as leaders of educational institutions in cultivating religious culture in students at school. Interview, observation and documentation methods were used by researchers to collect data in this research using a qualitative approach. The results of the research show that the strategy used by school principals in cultivating the religious culture of students in schools is to use habituation and exemplary strategies through several activities such as midday prayers in congregation, tadarus al-Quran, tahfidz, dhikr after prayer, 5S culture, PHBI, visiting a friend who is sick or has had an accident.

Abstract

The research objective of this article is to find out what factors support the intensity of gadget use among MIS Islamiyah Ringinanom students, what the impact of gadget use is on students, and solutions and recommendations that teachers and parents can make to deal with the impact of gadget use on students.In the era of society 5.0, humans live side by side with technologys, everyone uses technology. The development of technology also has an impact on the high use of technology such as gadgets. This research aims to examine the impact of high intensity of gadget use on the character of MIS Islamiyah Ringinanom students. This research uses a qualitative approach, data collection methods through interviews and observations, and documentation. The research results show that intense use of gadgets has a negative impact on students' character, namely a lack of sense of responsibility, underestimating religious aspects, decreased concentration in learning, and the emergence of anti-social and introverted attitudes. It is hoped that this research will be able to make a contribution to the field of education, especially in addressing the use of gadgets and paying more attention to the development of students' character.

Abstract

The current moral degradation in the country illustrates the significance of character educatian. The purposed of this study was to examine how students at SMP Plus Al-Kautsar Malang internalize the values of the Pancasila students profile in order to develop Islamic character. The research focuses on the outcomes of the internalization of Pancasila student profile values in the development of Islamic character, along with a number of elements that facilitate and hinder this process. Descriptive qualitative methodology was employed in this study, along with methods for gatering data that included documentasion, interview, and observation. The findings of the study demonstraded that there were three primary phases in the process by which students at SMP Plus Al-Kautsar Malang internalized the significance of the Pancasila student profile in shaping their Islamic character. The first stage is value transformation, which involves distributing good moral values by providing direction and advice regarding good and bad values. The second stage is value transaction, which involves reciprocal communication between educators and students to ensure understanding of values. The third stage is the transinternalization of values, which involves habituation, Islamic activities, and project-based learning (P5). The strategies implemented include habituation, example, monitoring, and giving rewards and punishments. The results of the study show the strong influence that students have at SMP Plus Al-Kautsar Malang when internalizing the importance of the Pancasila student profile in shaping Islamic character. The students have succeeded in forming answers, independent, religious, and socially conscious.

Abstract

A nation develops because of the regeneration that is born through the process of education and learning. The next generation is guaranteed protection and respect for religious rights according to their respective teachings. Although, there are still some cases that tarnish the orientation of students in pursuing education so that it affects the development of science. This discussion aims to examine the strategy, process, and evaluation of religious moderation education in cultivating harmony among students at SMAN 8 Malang City. The researcher used a qualitative approach of field study type that collected data through participant observation, interviews, and documentation. The data collection was then classified and analyzed before finally the data was presented with conclusions. The data and research results indicate that various strategies are applied through in-school activities, project-based activities (P5), and student character empowerment. As for the implementation process, researchers describe it with various points including, 1) exemplary, 2) instilling discipline, 3) creating a conducive atmosphere, and 4) integration and internalization of character values. Meanwhile, the evaluation of its implementation consists of inhibiting factors, namely the lack of harmony by some students. However, this factor can be covered by the existence of supporting factors which are evaluated directly by the teacher by supervising and reprimanding them.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the implementation of the field trip observation method in the learning process of students, focusing on their ability to adapt and modify themselves in their surroundings, and to identify the strengths and weaknesses of this method. This qualitative study employs ethnographic or field research methodology, with teachers and students under observation as the primary data sources. Secondary data sources include school profile information, field trip destination observation data, and observations of field trip learning strategies. Data collection techniques involve documentation, interviews, and observations. Data analysis proceeds incrementally, leading to conclusions. Findings indicate that using field trip observation methods enhances students' insights, exposes them to new experiences, and alleviates boredom associated with classroom learning. However, this method requires thorough planning and significant financial resources to implement effectively.
