Abstract

POKDAKAN (Kelompok Pembudidaya Ikan) memiliki peran penting dalam pengembangan budidaya perikanan berkelanjutan, termasuk sistem integrasi minapadi. Namun, tantangan yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan energi listrik di area persawahan serta pemberian pakan yang masih manual, yang menyebabkan efisiensi produksi belum optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 September 2025 di Desa Penembangan, Banyumas, Jawa Tengah oleh tim dosen Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Tujuan kegiatan adalah meningkatkan kapasitas POKDAKAN melalui edukasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan transfer pengetahuan dalam penerapan sistem otomatisasi pakan berbasis energi surya. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, edukasi, wawancara, kuesioner, serta replikasi teknologi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggota POKDAKAN, peningkatan efisiensi pakan sebesar 20–25%, serta kesiapan pembudidaya untuk mereplikasi sistem di lahan lain. Program ini membuktikan bahwa edukasi berbasis teknologi dapat meningkatkan kemandirian pembudidaya sekaligus mendukung praktik budidaya ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

Panembangan Village has strong potential for rice–fish culture (minapadi) but faces constraints in feeding efficiency, unmonitored water quality, and dependence on grid electricity. This community‐service program offers an integrated solution: an IoT-based auto feeder combined with real-time water-quality monitoring (DO, pH, temperature, conductivity/TDS, turbidity) and powered by off-grid solar energy (PV) to ensure continuous operation. The primary goal was to improve feed efficiency, enhance fish growth, reduce feed waste, and optimize water quality management in aquaculture systems. The implementation of these technologies has demonstrated significant improvements in feed conversion ratios, growth rates of fish, and overall water quality management. The program also provided training to local farmers, enhancing their capacity to manage these technologies effectively. This initiative is expected to contribute to the sustainable development of aquaculture in the region, benefiting both the local community and the environment
