Abstract

In Cikasungka Village, Solear District, the lack of lighting and visual signs along village roads contributes to an increased risk of accidents, especially at night. This community service program aims to design and manufacture road divider reflectors using simple and affordable materials, and to raise public awareness of the importance of road safety. The methods implemented include road condition surveys, reflector design, training in reflector manufacture and installation, and an evaluation of the benefits to the community. The results of the activity show improved road visibility at night and increased public awareness and participation in maintaining traffic safety. This initiative demonstrates that the application of simple technology through community service activities can have a significant impact on improving the safety and comfort of road users.ABSTRAKDi Desa Cikasungka, Kecamatan Solear, minimnya penerangan dan tanda-tanda visual di sepanjang jalan desa berkontribusi pada meningkatnya kemungkinan kecelakaan, terutama pada malam hari. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendesain dan membuat reflektor pembatas jalan dengan menggunakan material yang sederhana dan terjangkau, serta meningkatkan kesadaran warga akan pentingnya keselamatan dalam berkendara. Metode yang diterapkan meliputi survei kondisi jalan, desain reflektor, pelatihan dalam pembuatan dan pemasangan reflektor, dan juga evaluasi manfaat yang didapatkan oleh masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukan peningkatan visibilitas jalan pada malam hari serta meningkatnya kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam menjaga keselematan lalu lintas. Inisiatif ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan teknologi sederhana melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat bisa memberikan dampak yang berarti terhadap peningkatan keselamatan dan kenyamanan bagi para pengguna jalan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the aspects of cultural values, and symbols contained in the poem "Selendang Batik Ibu" written by Amalia Najichah, which is in the book of poetry collection "Surat dari Samudra". This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques applied heuristic methods and hermeneutic analysis to understand literary texts in depth. The results obtained in this study are (1) the physical structure in the poem "Selendang Batik Ibu" by Amalia Najichah which is in the poetry collection book "Surat dari Samudra", (2) the inner structure in the poem "Selendang Batik Ibu" by Amalia Najichah which is in the poetry collection book "Surat dari Samudra", (3) Tradition in the poem "Selendang Batik Ibu" by Amalia Najichah which is in the poetry collection book "Surat dari Samudra", (4) Cultural values in the poem "Selendang Batik Ibu" by Amalia Najichah in the book of poetry collection "Surat dari Samudra", (5) Language as a cultural forum in the poem "Selendang Batik Ibu" by Amalia Najichah which is in the poetry collection book "Surat dari Samudra". In the poem "Selendang Batik Ibu" written by Amalia Najichah, which is in the book of poetry collection "Surat dari Samudra" revives traditions and cultural values that are in danger of being lost in this modern era through symbolism and language used, this poem describes the close relationship between the batik tradition as a cultural heritage and the role of mothers in daily life.
