Abstract

The transformation and increasing demands for quality improvement in Islamic education require a management model that extends beyond structural and administrative orientations to incorporate spiritual and ethical values. Ihsan, as a fundamental Islamic principle, offers a relevant foundation for educational management practices. This study aims to analyze the implementation of ihsan-based management strategies in improving the quality of Islamic education at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah (MDT) Al-Hidayah Pasir Biru, Cibiru District, Bandung City. Employing a qualitative approach with a field research design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with institutional managers and key stakeholders. The data were analyzed thematically based on established indicators of Islamic education quality, including teacher professionalism, curriculum and learning processes, facilities and infrastructure, as well as learning evaluation and assessment. The findings reveal that ihsan-based management is systematically implemented and functions as a managerial ethos that promotes continuous and holistic quality improvement. Core values such as responsibility, trustworthiness, sincerity, and fairness underpin institutional management practices and contribute positively to both graduate quality and public trust. The study implies that ihsan-based management can be operationalized as a sustainable, context-sensitive strategy for enhancing the quality of Islamic education and may serve as a conceptual model for similar Islamic educational institutions

Abstract

Digital transformation in Islamic education requires educational institutions to not only implement learning technologies, but also to plan digital innovations strategically and systematically. However, studies focusing on digital innovation at the level of Islamic education planning, particularly in the context of private madrasahs, are still limited. This study aims to analyze digital innovation in Islamic education planning at MA Al-Jawami Cileunyi and examine digital innovation planning strategies in accelerating learning adaptation. This study uses a qualitative research design with a field study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and analysis of madrasah planning documents, then analyzed using thematic analysis. The results show that digital innovation is planned in a gradual and adaptive manner, with human resource readiness as the main focus of planning. This strategy has an impact on accelerating learning adaptation, as indicated by changes in teachers' work patterns, the use of digital systems in learning planning and evaluation, and increased stakeholder involvement. This study confirms that contextual digital innovation planning based on Islamic educational values plays an important role in supporting learning adaptation in madrasahs..   Keywords: digital innovation; Islamic education planning; learning adaptation; madrasah   Abstrak: Transformasi digital dalam pendidikan Islam menuntut lembaga pendidikan untuk tidak hanya mengimplementasikan teknologi pembelajaran, tetapi juga merencanakan inovasi digital secara strategis dan sistematis. Namun, kajian yang memfokuskan inovasi digital pada level perencanaan pendidikan Islam, khususnya pada konteks madrasah swasta masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis inovasi digital dalam perencanaan pendidikan Islam di MA Al-Jawami Cileunyi serta mengkaji strategi perencanaan inovasi digital dalam mempercepat adaptasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi lapangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen perencanaan madrasah, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi digital direncanakan secara bertahap dan adaptif dengan menempatkan kesiapan sumber daya manusia sebagai fokus utama perencanaan. Strategi tersebut berdampak pada percepatan adaptasi pembelajaran yang ditandai oleh perubahan pola kerja guru, pemanfaatan sistem digital dalam perencanaan dan evaluasi pembelajaran, serta meningkatnya keterlibatan pemangku kepentingan. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa perencanaan inovasi digital yang kontekstual dan berbasis nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam berperan penting dalam mendukung adaptasi pembelajaran di madrasah.   Kata Kunci: inovasi digital; perencanaan pendidikan Islam; adaptasi pembelajaran; madrasah
