Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji interaksi antara pestisida dan mikroorganisme tanah serta mekanisme biodegradasi yang terjadi melalui pendekatan molekuler. Metode yang digunakan adalah literature review dengan analisis kualitatif deskriptif terhadap 35 artikel utama yang dipilih melalui prosedur PRISMA dari berbagai basis data ilmiah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pestisida dapat menurunkan keragaman mikroba tanah, menghambat aktivitas enzim, serta memicu pergeseran struktur komunitas mikroba, namun sejumlah bakteri dan fungi seperti Pseudomonas, Bacillus, Rhodococcus, Flavobacterium, Aspergillus, dan Penicillium yang mampu mendegradasinya melalui enzim kunci yang dikode oleh gen seperti opd, mpd, dan phnJ. Efektivitas degradasi ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh pH, suhu, bahan organik, dan tekstur tanah. Secara keseluruhan, kajian ini menegaskan bahwa pemahaman biodegradasi pestisida memerlukan integrasi antara analisis molekuler dan faktor ekologi, sehingga pengelolaan tanah berkelanjutan harus mempertimbangkan kedua aspek tersebut secara bersamaan. Interaction Between Pesticides and Soil Microorganisms: Degradation Using a Molecular Approach Abstract This study aims to examine the interaction between pesticides and soil microorganisms and the biodegradation mechanisms that occur through a molecular approach. The method used is a literature review with descriptive qualitative analysis of 35 primary articles selected using the PRISMA procedure from various scientific databases. The results of the study indicate that pesticides can reduce soil microbial diversity, inhibit enzyme activity, and trigger shifts in microbial community structure. However, several bacteria and fungi such as Pseudomonas, Bacillus, Rhodococcus, Flavobacterium, Aspergillus, and Penicillium are capable of degrading them through key enzymes encoded by genes such as opd, mpd, and phnJ. The effectiveness of this degradation is strongly influenced by pH, temperature, organic matter, and soil texture. Overall, this study confirms that understanding pesticide biodegradation requires an integration of molecular analysis and ecological factors, so that sustainable soil management must consider both aspects simultaneously.

Abstract

Usahatani semangka merupakan komoditas hortikultura yang berperan penting dalam meningkatkan pendapatan petani di Kecamatan Lape. Petani rata-rata menanam semangka setelah menanam padi dua kali dalam setahun, yaitu pada musim tanam kemarau I dan musim tanam kemarau II. Perbedaan kondisi iklim dan serangan hama antar musim tanam sering menyebabkan ketimpangan produksi yang berdampak pada fluktuasi pendapatan petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan produksi, pendapatan, serta efisiensi usahatani semangka pada kedua musim tanam tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Lape Kabupaten Sumbawa dengan mengambil dua desa sampel, yaitu Desa Lape dan Desa Labuan Kuris yang dipilih secara purposive sampling berdasarkan produksi semangka terbanyak. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif komparatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif terhadap 34 petani semangka yang dipilih secara  proportional random sampling. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif  melalui perhitungan produksi, pendapatan, efisiensi usahatani; kemudian diuji secara statistik dengan uji t untuk membandingkan kedua musim di atas. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa produksi, pendapatan dan efisiensi usahatani semangka pada musim tanam kemarau I lebih tinggi dan berbeda siginifikan dengan musim tanam kemarau II. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kinerja usahatani semangka pada musim tanam kemarau I di Kecapatan Lape lebih baik  dibandingkan musim tanam kemarau II. Comparative Analysis of Production, Income and Efficiency of Watermelon Farming During Dry Season I and II in Lape District Sumbawa Regency Abstract Watermelon farming is a horticultural commodity that plays an important role in increasing farmer income in Lape District. Farmers generally plant watermelon after planting rice twice a year, namely in the first dry planting season and the second dry planting season. Differences in climate conditions and pest attacks between planting seasons often cause production imbalances that impact farmer income fluctuations. This study aims to analyze and compare watermelon production, income, and farming efficiency in the two planting seasons. The study was conducted in Lape District, Sumbawa Regency, by selecting two sample villages, namely Lape Village and Labuan Kuris Village, which were selected by purposive sampling based on the highest watermelon production. The study used a comparative descriptive method with a quantitative approach to 34 watermelon farmers selected by proportional random sampling. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively through calculations of production, income, and farming efficiency; then tested statistically with a t-test to compare the two seasons above. The results of the analysis showed that watermelon production, income, and farming efficiency in the first dry planting season were higher and significantly different from those in the second dry planting season. This finding confirms that the performance of watermelon farming in the first dry planting season in Lape District was better than in the second dry planting season.
