Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan (1) keaktifan peserta didik kelas XI SMA Budi Utomo Perak Jombang dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Jerman, (2) prestasi belajar keterampilan membaca bahasa Jerman peserta didik kelas XI SMA Budi Utomo Perak Jombang melalui media permainan Jellyfish Hunt. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang melibatkan peserta didik kelas XI 3 SMA Budi Utomo Perak Jombang dan dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui berbagai metode, termasuk wawancara, angket, observasi, catatan lapangan, dokumentasi, dan tes keterampilan membaca. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan keaktifan peserta didik kelas XI 3 SMA Budi Utomo Perak Jombang dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Jerman. Peningkatan keaktifan tersebut sebesar 46,61% yaitu dari 27,33% pada pra tindakan menjadi 73,94% setelah tindakan. Selain itu, terdapat peningkatan persentase kelulusan tes keterampilan membaca peserta didik. Kenaikan tersebut sebesar 29,4% yaitu dari 62,96% sebelum diberi tindakan menjadi 92% setelah dilaksanakannya tindakan.Kata Kunci: Peningkatan, Keterampilan Membaca bahasa Jerman, Media Permainan Jellyfish Hunt Abstract: Abstract; This research aims to improve (1) the activeness of class XI students of SMA Budi Utomo Perak Jombang in the German learning process, (2) the learning achievement of German reading skills of class XI students of SMA Budi Utomo Perak Jombang through the Jellyfish Hunt game. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) involving class XI 3 students of SMA Budi Utomo Perak Jombang and carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data was collected through various methods, including interviews, questionnaires, observations, field notes, documentation, and reading skills tests. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in the activeness of class XI 3 students of SMA Budi Utomo Perak Jombang in the German learning process. The increase in activeness was 46.61%, from 27.33% in the pre-action to 73.94% after the action. In addition, there was an increase in the percentage of students passing the reading skills test. The increase was 29.4%, from 62.96% before the action to 92% after the action was carried out.Keywords: Improvement, German Reading Skills, Jellyfish Hunt Game
