This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of a character education learning model based on the integration of Islamic values in shaping students' moral attitudes and behavior. This study used a qualitative, descriptive-analytical approach to assess the effectiveness of a character education learning model based on the integration of Islamic values in shaping the moral attitudes and behavior of grade XB students in the subject of Aqidah Akhlak (Islamic Creed). The study was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Hidayatul Mubtadiin, South Lampung, in the 2025/2026 academic year. The subjects included Aqidah Akhlak teachers and students selected purposively. Data collection was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with interactive data analysis. Data validity was ensured through triangulation of sources and methods. The results indicate that the principal's leadership transformation at Madrasah Aliyah Hidayatul Mubtadiin plays a strategic role in improving teacher work ethic and professionalism through the integration of Islamic values into leadership practices and the school's work culture. Transformational leadership that emphasizes exemplary behavior, trustworthiness, and moral responsibility can build teachers' intrinsic awareness in carrying out their professional duties, so that improved performance is driven not only by formal rules but also by a commitment to values and spirituality. Furthermore, ongoing coaching and constructive academic supervision contribute to the development of teachers' pedagogical competence and personality. The integration of Islamic values into the work culture also fosters honest, responsible, and role-model-oriented professional behavior, which positively impacts the quality of education.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran pendidikan karakter berbasis integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam membentuk sikap dan perilaku akhlak peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif-analitis untuk mengkaji efektivitas model pembelajaran pendidikan karakter berbasis integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam membentuk sikap dan perilaku akhlak peserta didik kelas X B pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Madrasah Aliyah Hidayatul Mubtadiin Lampung Selatan pada tahun pelajaran 2025/2026. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru Akidah Akhlak dan peserta didik yang dipilih secara purposive. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis data interaktif serta keabsahan data dijamin melalui triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transformasi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah di Madrasah Aliyah Hidayatul Mubtadiin berperan strategis dalam meningkatkan etos kerja dan profesionalisme guru melalui integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam praktik kepemimpinan dan budaya kerja sekolah. Kepemimpinan transformasional yang menekankan keteladanan, amanah, dan tanggung jawab moral mampu membangun kesadaran intrinsik guru dalam menjalankan tugas profesional, sehingga peningkatan kinerja tidak hanya didorong oleh aturan formal, tetapi oleh komitmen nilai dan spiritual. Selain itu, pembinaan berkelanjutan dan supervisi akademik yang konstruktif berkontribusi pada pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik dan kepribadian guru. Integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam budaya kerja juga membentuk perilaku profesional yang jujur, bertanggung jawab, dan berorientasi pada keteladanan, yang berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan.
