Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pelestarian lingkungan melalui Program Penghijauan Berbasis Partisipasi Masyarakat di Desa Tolouwi Kecamatan Monta. Kegiatan ini diinisiasi oleh mahasiswa KKN Universitas Muhammadiyah Bima dengan melibatkan pemerintah desa serta berbagai kelompok masyarakat sebagai mitra utama. Permasalahan yang dihadapi di lokasi pengabdian meliputi rendahnya kesadaran lingkungan, minimnya ruang hijau, serta kurang optimalnya keterlibatan masyarakat dalam upaya penghijauan desa. Metode pelaksanaan PKM menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif yang meliputi sosialisasi lingkungan, perencanaan bersama, penanaman tanaman di lokasi strategis, serta pendampingan pemeliharaan tanaman. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya perubahan positif pada pengetahuan, sikap dan kepedulian masyarakat terhadap pentingnya menjaga lingkungan. Implementasi teknis penghijauan yang melibatkan masyarakat secara langsung mampu menumbuhkan rasa memiliki dan tanggung jawab bersama terhadap keberlanjutan lingkungan desa. Selain itu, kolaborasi antara mahasiswa KKN, pemerintah desa dan kelompok masyarakat memperkuat sinergi dalam mendukung keberhasilan program. Program ini memiliki potensi keberlanjutan dan replikasi karena berbasis pada potensi lokal dan partisipasi aktif masyarakat. Dengan demikian, program penghijauan ini dapat menjadi model strategis dalam penguatan kesadaran dan pelestarian lingkungan berbasis masyarakat di wilayah pedesaan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the dominance of students' fixed mindsets in Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh) learning, which are dogmatic and focused solely on numerical values. The aim of the research is to explore the implementation of descriptive feedback to develop students' growth mindsets in the Hudud (Islamic Law) material. Using a qualitative case study method, data was collected through participant observation, document analysis, and semi-structured interviews in class XI IPAS 3 of MAN 2 Kota Bima. The results show that providing narratives to improve students' thought processes significantly reduces cognitive anxiety and increases students' confidence in expressing their opinions. In conclusion, descriptive feedback effectively shifts the learning paradigm from merely memorizing legal status to understanding logical-analytical reasoning. This research recommends a shift from absolute numerical assessment to constructive narrative guidance.

Abstract

Low student participation in formative assessment often occurs when assessment practices rely on conventional methods that are less engaging for digital-native learners. Integrating artificial intelligence–based learning media can create more interactive and motivating assessment environments. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Canva AI interactive quizzes in improving student participation and cognitive learning outcomes in Islamic Jurisprudence (Fikih). This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles involving 78 students. Data were collected through classroom observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation of assessment activities. The results indicate a substantial increase in students’ participation and learning outcomes after the implementation of Canva AI quizzes. Quantitatively, the average score improved from 52.56% in the pre-test of Cycle I to 88.21% in the post-test of Cycle I, achieving 100% classical mastery. In Cycle II, the average score increased further to 89.36, with more students achieving perfect scores. Qualitative observations also show that the intervention successfully transformed previously passive learners into active participants during formative assessment activities. These findings suggest that Canva AI interactive quizzes serve as an effective strategy to enhance participation and engagement in Fikih learning assessments. Therefore, the integration of AI-based tools in classroom assessment is recommended to support more interactive and student-centered learning in the digital era.
