Abstract

The XX Region Cultural Preservation Center is the technical implementation unit of the Ministry of Education and Culture in the field of preserving cultural values and is under and responsible for the Director General of Culture. Based on the observations, problems are still found regarding work motivation and performance. This research aims to determine the effect of motivation on employee performance at the XX Region Cultural Conservation Center.The method used in this research was the descriptive method. The population in this study were employees of the XX Region Cultural Preservation Center office, with a population of 31 people and a sample of 30 people. The data were collected through questionnaires. The analysis technique used was simple linear regression.The test results showed that work motivation influences employee performance. Employees who receive good non-financial compensation, who always receive direction at work, have good relationships at work, and receive awards as well as recognition at work have high performance too. Abstract

Employee performance is influenced by and enhanced by work discipline. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how PT. Tri Samudra Ambon employees perform in relation to work discipline.Using the Slovin formula, a sample of 90 respondents was selected. Simple linear regression analysis and descriptive analysis using SPSS software were the analytical techniques employed in this study. The derived regression is Y = 4.630 + 0.784. Descriptive analysis indicates that employee performance at PT. Tri Samudra Ambon has an average score of 3.34, which is regarded as good, and work discipline has an average score of 3.27, which is quite good.These findings support the notion that PT. Tri Samudra staff performance is positively impacted by discipline. Keywords: Work Discipline, Employee Performance

Abstract

Based on the initial survey on CV. Sumber Harta Laut Mas Ambon shows that there are indications of workload problems on employees. On the other hand, it also shows symptoms of work stress so that it has an impact on employee performance. This study aims to determine how the effect of workload and work stress on employee performance at CV. Sumber Harta Laut Mas Ambon.The analytical method used in this study is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Descriptive analysis shows that the workload on employees of CV. Sumber Harta Laut Mas Ambon with an average value of 3.70 which is interpreted as high, while stressaverage work value of 3.02 which is also interpreted as high. The results of the regression analysis show that workload has a negative and significant effect on the performance of CV. Sumber Harta Laut Mas Ambon, work stress has a negative and significant impact on the performance of employees. CV. Sumber Harta Laut Mas Ambon And simultaneously workload and work stress have a significant effect on employee performance.Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the higher the workload and work stress, the lower the employee's performance. To overcome this, CV. Sumber Harta Laut Mas Ambon must try to reduce workload by paying attention to working conditions, and use of working time and targets to be achieved. Employee stress levels must also be reduced by paying attention to symptoms of employee stress on psychological, physical and behavioral indicators so that employee performance increases.
