Abstract: This community service activity aims to design an exterior grid for the corridor of the partner elementary school as a solution to the problems of rainwater leakage and excessive heat that interfere with the comfort of learning activities. The corridor that is the focus of the activity is a connector between classrooms and the library. Partners in the activity include the school, particularly teachers and facility managers, who play an active role in discussions and evaluations. The proposed solution is an exterior grille design with a hollow iron frame and 1×1 meter white and gray aluminum composite panel (ACP) coverings. The implementation method included field observations, participatory discussions, and conceptual design planning that took into account functional aspects, aesthetics, and local climate conditions. Monitoring and evaluation were carried out through observations and reflective interviews. The evaluation results showed that 90% of respondents considered the design to be in line with the school's needs and suitable as a reference for renovation. This design is expected to improve comfort and the quality of the learning environment.
