Abstract

This research aims to take a deeper look at the education curriculum in China. This research discusses the curriculum, education system, trends, obstacles and educational laws in China. The method in this research uses literature study. Data collection in the form of educational documents was carried out using various existing website sources. The results of the discussion in this research are that China has a transcentralized education system, meaning starting from the central, provincial, municipal, district levels, and including autonomous regions at the municipal level. Then education in China consists of four sectors (1) basic education, (2) technical & vacational education, (3) higher education, and (4) adult education. Apart from these four sectors, there is also non-formal education, namely literacy education in order to eradicate illiteracy. The educational curriculum in China is more flexible to the needs of students and the welfare of teachers is given more attention

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and find out in more depth regarding the comparison between the South Korean and Indonesian education curricula. The type of research used in this research is literature study. The data source in this research comes from journals or scientific articles. The journals in this research were obtained via Google Scholar with a total of 11 journals obtained. The research results show that there are differences between the two countries, namely in their educational curriculum. The South Korean education curriculum focuses on providing competency provisions to students so they are ready to enter the world of work. Meanwhile, the Indonesian curriculum focuses on responding to the challenges of the 4.0 revolution era. Therefore, Indonesia needs to take several examples from the South Korean education curriculum, especially in preparing provisions so that students are ready to enter the world of work considering that in this country there are still many unresolved unemployment problems.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Influence of the curriculum in Japan and Indonesia on the quality of education, by looking at the advantages and disadvantanges of each. The educational Curriculum in Japan is known to be superior with is systematic and structured approach, paying attention to affective, cognitive and psychomotor aspects, emphasizing discipline, work ethics, manners, etiquette and instilling normative values from an early age and deep understanding of the subject matter. The advantages of this system are the high academic achievement of Japanese students and the formation of strong characters in terms of responsibility and independence. However, disadvantanges include high academic pressure and a lack of student creativity due to a highly standardized approach. On the other hand, the educational vcurriculum in Indonesia shows greater flexibility and diversity, allowing for local adaptation and the application of various teaching methods. The advantages of this system include the development of social skills and cultural diversity, as well as the potential for educational innovation. However, the challenges faced include a lack of consistency and standardization, disparities in the quality of education between regions, this is due to unequal distribution of access to educational facilities and infrastructure as well as the lack of availability of skilled teaching staff. Through this comparison, this article provides insight into how the strengths and weaknesses of each education system can complement each other, offering potential improvements to improve the quality of education in both countries.
