Pakan berperan penting dalam performa produksi dan status fisiologis ayam petelur, termasuk perkembangan organ viseral yang berfungsi mendukung sistem imun. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan mengandung minyak Black Soldier Fly (BSF) terproteksi metaloenzim zink dan selenium terhadap bobot organ viseral ayam petelur. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 4 bulan yaitu Juli-Oktober 2025 di Teaching Farm Universitas Islam Malang menggunakan 27 ekor ayam petelur ISA Brown dan diberi pakan secara ad libitum selama 29 hari. Penelitian ini disusun menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) faktorial dengan dua faktor, yaitu dosis minyak BSF (0%, 1,5%,dan 3%) dan jenis antioksidan (zink 80 ppm, selenium 0,3 ppm serta kombinasi zink dan selenium). Variabel yang diamati meliputi bobot timus, bursa fabricius, limpa, jantung, paru-paru, dan empedu. Data ditabulasi dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis sidik ragam (ANOVA), jika terdapat perbedaan dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian minyak BSF berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap peningkatan bobot organ limfoid yaitu, timus, bursa fabricius dan limpa serta berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap bobot paru-paru namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot jantung dan empedu. Suplementasi zink dan selenium berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot timus dan limpa. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara minyak BSF dan jenis antioksidan terhadap seluruh parameter organ viseral. Disimpulkan bahwa minyak BSF tersuplementasi zink dan selenium dapat digunakan dan berpotensi mendukung kesehatan organ viseral serta sistem imun ayam petelur.Kata Kunci : Minyak Black Soldier Fly terproteksi metaloenzim zink dan selenium, organ viseralTHE EFFECT OF FEEDING DIETS CONTAINING BLACK SOLDIER FLY (BSF) OIL PROTECTED WITH ZINC AND SELENIUM METALLOENZYMES ON THE VISCERAL ORGANS OF LAYING HENSAbstractDiet plays an important role in determining production performance and physiological status of laying hens, including the development of visceral organs that support the immune system. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of dietary supplementation with Black Soldier Fly (BSF) oil supplemented with zinc and selenium on visceral organ weights of laying hens as indicators of health and physiological function. The study was conducted for four months (July–October 2025) at the Teaching Farm of Universitas Islam Malang using 27 ISA Brown laying hens, which were fed ad libitum for 29 days. The experiment was arranged in a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) with two factors: BSF oil levels (0%, 1.5%, and 3%) and antioxidant types (zinc 80 ppm, selenium 0.3 ppm, and a combination of zinc and selenium). The observed variables included the weights of the thymus, bursa of Fabricius, spleen, heart, lungs, and gall bladder. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Duncan’s multiple range test. The results showed that BSF oil supplementation had a highly significant effect (P<0.01) on the weights of lymphoid organs, namely the thymus, bursa of Fabricius, and spleen, and a significant effect (P<0.05) on lung weight, but had no significant effect on heart and gall bladder weights. Zinc and selenium supplementation significantly affected thymus and spleen weights. No interaction was observed between BSF oil and antioxidant type on all visceral organ parameters. It can be concluded that BSF oil supplemented with zinc and selenium is safe and has potential to support visceral organ health and immune system function in laying hens.Keywords: Black Soldier Fly oil supplemented with zinc and selenium metalloenzymes,viceral organs.
