Abstract

Smart Home atau Rumah Pintar merupakan sebuah konsep desain teknis yang diterapkan untuk membangun sebuah rumah. Konsep ini berkaitan dengan pemanfaatan teknologi, dan dengan pemanfaatan teknologi yang tepat, banyak manfaat yang bisa dipetik. Seperti memadukan teknologi Android sebagai media dan Microcontroller yang digunakan untuk konsol rumah dalam mengembangkan sistem smart home dengan konsep internet of things. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem smart home yang dapat mengontrol perangkat elektronik dan benda-benda di dalam rumah yang di implementasikan dalam sebuah miniatur rumah. Perancangan sistem smart home ini diharapkan dapat menyadarkan banyak orang dan melihat pentingnya kemajuan teknologi dan banyak manfaat yang dapat dipetik dari perkembangan teknologi untuk meningkatkan aktivitas manusia setiap harinya.

Abstract

At PT. PLN (Persero) UPDL Palembang uses routers from the Cisco 1900 series, hardware-wise this Cisco device is very old because it was released in 2009 according to a Cisco website source, using the Cisco 1900 series as a router is something that is very vulnerable to attack by attackers due to its backwardness. the times in terms of network security, and the lack of attention to network security is also a matter of concern in this regard. With these problems, routing is added for network security by designing a pc router firewall from pfSense, the pc router itself uses computer assets that are is no longer used but has sufficient specifications. Using the action research method, carrying out diagnoses, planning actions, following up, conducting evaluations, and learning materials. By designing a pc router firewall using pfSense it is hoped that the results will be quite good, because it uses the router firewall feature using pfSense to block attacks. Using pfSense as network security will certainly be safer because pfSense still regularly updates or improves its security and has an active forum community to date so that information can be exchanged.

Abstract

Abstract The need for internet services and computer networks today is very important often with technological advances. Therefore, proper and reliable design is needed in building a good network quality. One of the practical and appropriate solutions that can be applied in overcoming the progress of data communication is by distributing load balancing workloads. So far, there are still many people who think wrong about load balancing, that by using load balancing two connection lines, the bandwidth that will be obtained will be double the bandwidth before using load balancing or in other words the accumulation of the two bandwidths. Load balancing is a concept that is useful for balancing the load or load on the network infrastructure. In a load balancing system, the load sharing process has its own method and algorithm. Per Connection Classifier is one method that can be used in load balancing, Per Connection Classifier can be used to group connection traffic through or out of the router into several groups. For this reason, load balancing is implemented using the Per Connection Classifier method at the Bina Jaya Palembang Foundation in an effort to group connection traffic through or out of the router into several groups. Abstract

SD Muhamamdiyah 4 merupakan salah satu sekolah yang menerapkan proses pembelajaran di Rumah dan Disekolah, Salah satu pembelajaran di Sekolah berdasarkan kurikulum pelajaran IPA kelas 6 SD, terdapat pembelajaran rangkaian listrik. Salah satunya terkait dengan rangkaian listrik seri , rangkaian listrik parallel, dan rangkaian listrik campuran. Sedangkan pembelajaran komputer belum ada dalam kurikulum SD Muhammadiyah, dari hasil diskusi dengan guru dan siswa terdapat beberapa permasalahan dalam belajar komputer atau teknologi pada umunya. Para siswa sudah sangat aktif dalam memegang HP. Memberikan pengetahuan tentang konsep dasar rangkaian listrik, khususnya listrik dinamis dan mengenalkan dasar komputer agar bisa menarik minat tentang teknologi. Dengan melakukan praktek secara langsung, siswa siswi dapat lebih memahami bagaimana prinsip rangkaian listrik seri dan parallel dan aplikasinya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari , dan lebih megenal alat-alat komputer secara langsung.

Abstract

The Palembang City Health Service has implemented the Wireless network as one of the services to connect to the internet, to expand the signal coverage in the City Government Service network, has been implemented wirelessly with a Wireless Distribution System (WDS) system that allows wireless interconnection in access points in the IEEE 802.11 network. This allows wireless networks to be developed using multiple APs (Access points) without having to require a network cable backbone to connect between networks. Users connected to the Hotspot at Palembang City Health Office are increasing year by year. This is seen from the number of access usage needs each year. The analysis that will be carried out on Palembang's health service wireless LAN network uses several parameters, namely Bandwidth, Throughput, Delay, and Packet Loss, where these parameters are used to see the quality of network services (QOS), so that the results of this research will be expected to provide solutions for the service the health of the city of Palembang in evaluating the quality of the network, especially wireless LAN so that it can overcome any problems that occur. Research methods using Action Research or action research is one form of research design, in action research researchers describe, interpret and explain a social situation at the same time by making changes or interventions with the aim of improvement or participation. The results of the QOS parameters are delay according to the TIPHON version, that a very good delay occurs at the Health Service from point 2, that is location 2 to location 3, with a delay of under 150 milli second (ms).

Abstract

The South Sumatra Regional Police is a government agency engaged in the field of security, securing/sharing the community and enforcing the law, as well as providing protection, security, protection and community services in the context of maintaining domestic security. Based on the research and analysis carried out, several problems were found, including the HR Selection Subdivision for the South Sumatra Police HR Bureau, which carried out data collection that had carried out the development of specialist education from year to year using a manual data collection system using Excel recap. In order to improve services and make work effective, a system for processing or recording data electronically was developed so that the information data obtained was accurate and fast, the Education and Special Education Bureau for Human Resources applications can be successfully built using the PHP programming language with the CodeIgniter framework. This shows that choosing the right technology can support reliable and efficient application development. the development of edikbangspes at the South Sumatra Polda HR Bureau using the Action Research method has brought benefits in improving service to internal employees. In the application design and development process, the active involvement of personnel is essential to ensure their needs and expectations are met. By hosting applications on the internet, edikbangsppes applications can be accessed by data input operators without time and location limitations. So with the development of the e-dikbangsppes information system, it is able to overcome problems related to personnel data collection which in this system can be accessed online or online personnel recording wherever and whenever, then based on evaluation results using the speed test application, web results obtained with an average score of 84.3 in the good category

Abstract

Harvani Hotel has 5 (five) floors, where each floor has 1 (one) Access Point (AP). All Access Points, servers and several Personal Computers (PCs) are connected to the RB 750r2 microtic router which is connected directly to the Internet Service Provider (ISP) so that all users are connected to the internet network. The problem that occurs is the uneven distribution of bandwidth so that the first user connected to the internet will get more bandwidth with the highest internet access speed. This causes interference to other users who feel the speed of internet access is very slow, which results in user inconvenience in using internet access. Therefore, bandwidth management is done in this research uses the action research method, where the prototype is focused on 5 Access Points by using ISP that provide bandwidth services of 2.5 Mbps and shared equally among 5 Access Points. From the testing results using the speedtest known that every AP only get the throughput between 100 - 400 kbps. This is providing that the bandwidth used of every AP does not expand 512 kbps and the bandwidth distribution of every AP has been ordered to remove the existence of user interest.

Abstract

The growth of the Internet has brought about significant changes in how we store data. Common data storage media include hard disks, flash drives, and CDs. With the advancement of technology, cloud storage has emerged as a new alternative in the world of storage. In this regard, two leading cloud storage platforms, Owncloud and Nextcloud, have evolved into popular options. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the level of High Availability and reliability of Owncloud and Nextcloud cloud storage platforms. This is accomplished by conducting load testing and simulating failure scenarios to assess the platforms' ability to ensure data access during disruptions and enhance performance under high loads. The research methodology used is the Network Development LifeCycle (NDLC). The software employed as the operating system is Ubuntu Server 20.04, and for web server load testing, Netdata and Nagios are used to monitor the system. The results of this research provide comprehensive information on the high availability and reliability of Owncloud and Nextcloud cloud storage platforms in modern computing environments.
