<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Caregiver adalah pendamping yang memberikan bantuan kepada seseorang yang tidak mampu mengurus diri sendiri atau memiliki keterbatasan fisik dan mental. Caregiver sangat dibutuhkan oleh kondisi lansia stroke karena sebagian besar pasien lansia memiliki ketergantungan dan kesulitan melakukan aktivitas secara mandiri. Proses penurunan ini akan mengganggu dan menurunkan kemampuan fungsional lansia dalam melakukan aktivitas, sehingga mengakibatkan lansia membutuhkan bantuan dari orang lain. Tujuan program ini adalah memberikan pemberdayaan caregiver dalam mendukung tingkat kemampuan fungsional lansia melalui teknologi geriatric care di Yayasan Stroke Indonesia Yogyakarta. Metode program ini melalui persiapan, pre-test dan post-test, pengembangan dan uji coba aplikasi, pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi kepada caregiver, pelatihan cara pemeriksaan, evaluasi dan kontrol peningkatan pengetahuan caregiver, kemandirian lansia, serta ketercapaian luaran program. Hasil dari rata-rata tingkat pemahaman caregiver dalam penggunaan aplikasi sebelum program sebesar 51,8 dan sesudah program sebesar 98,1, terdapat peningkatan pemahaman caregiver sebesar 46,3%, yang menunjukkan bahwa caregiver mampu mengoperasikan aplikasi secara mandiri, memahami fitur pemeriksaan, serta melakukan pendampingan lansia secara lebih terarah. Hasil pengukuran kemampuan fungsional menggunakan indeks Barthel yaitu adanya peningkatan setelah diberikan latihan yang dipandu melalui aplikasi Geriatric Care. Sebelum mengikuti latihan, nilai rata-rata pre-testadalah 56,72, yang menunjukkan bahwa lansia masih berada pada tingkat kemandirian yang terbatas. Setelah mengikuti latihan serta pendampingan caregiver, nilai rata-rata post-test meningkat menjadi 64,97. Program ini memberikan hasil signifikan dalam upaya meningkatkan pemberdayaan caregiver dalam mendukung tingkat kemampuan fungsional lansia melalui teknologi geriatric care di Yayasan Stroke Indonesia Yogyakarta. ABSTRACT Caregivers are companions who provide assistance to someone who is unable to care for themselves or has physical and mental limitations. Caregivers are very much needed by elderly stroke patients because most elderly patients are dependent and have difficulty performing activities independently. This decline process will disrupt and reduce the functional ability of the elderly in performing activities, resulting in the elderly needing assistance from others. The objective of this program is to provide caregiver empowerment in supporting the level of functional ability of the elderly through geriatric care technology at the Indonesian Stroke Foundation in Yogyakarta. This program method is through preparation, pre-test and post-test, application development and testing, application usage training for caregivers, examination method training, evaluation and control of caregiver knowledge improvement, elderly independence, and achievement of program outcomes. The results of the average level of caregiver understanding in using the application before the program were 51.8 and after the program were 98.1, there was an increase in caregiver understanding of 46.3%, which indicates that caregivers are able to operate the application independently, understand the examination features, and provide more targeted assistance to the elderly. The results of measuring functional ability using the Barthel index showed an increase after being given guided exercises through the Geriatric Care application. Before participating in the training, the average pre-test score was 56.72, indicating that the elderly were still at a limited level of independence. After participating in the training and caregiver assistance, the average post-test score increased to 64.97.
