Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to provide an introduction to the use of Arduino Uno to students of SMK Negeri 1 Bireuen. With the utilization of Arduino Uno, students can create projects such as temperature and humidity control systems, line follower robots, light management systems, and more. This, will improve students' abilities in programming and electronics, as well as provide invaluable practical experience in developing their creativity. This method of community service activities begins with the preparation stage and field surveys. Followed by a discussion with the responsible parties there regarding the activities that will be carried out at SMK Negeri 1 Bireuen, namely the Principal and public relations of SMK Negeri 1 Bireuen. In the workshop, it was explained about the introduction of Robotics, Arduino Uno and the tools needed to assemble/install an automatic line follower robot application using sensors brought by the PKM activity committee. It is hoped that with this training, students can develop their skills and creativity by participating in workshops, robotics competitions so that they can build collaboration with local industries.

Abstract

Abstract

Poverty is a serious problem that hinders economic development, especially in developing countries like Indonesia. Aceh Province, especially Bireuen, Aceh Utara, and Lhokseumawe City have significant poverty rates due to high population and limited job opportunities. The K-Medoids algorithm used in this research works well in clustering the sub-districts in the region, with the aim of assisting the government in making more effective decisions. The implementation results show the clustering for the poverty rate in Bireuen in 2021 obtained C1 58.82%, C2 29.41%, C3 11.76%, in 2022 obtained C1 58.82%, C2 29.41%, C3 11.76%, in 2023 obtained C1 64.71%, C2 17.65%, C3 17.65%. In Aceh Utara District, C1 62.96% was obtained, C2 33.33%, C3 3.70%, in 2022 C1 62.96%, C2 33.33%, C3 3.70%, in 2023 C1 51%, C2 44.44%, C3 3.70%. In the city of Lhokseumawe City obtained C1 25%, C2 50%, C3 25%, in 2022 C1 25%, C2 50%, C3 25%, in 2023 C1 25%, C2 25%, C3 50%. The percentage of these results shows that the poverty rate in the three regions increases every year and this requires special attention from the government to minimize the level of poverty through increasing employment, controlling the birth rate, and cash and non-cash assistance programs for poor families.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of door security systems by integrating RFID technology, fingerprint recognition, and the Internet of Things (IoT). This system not only enables automatic locking but also provides real-time access control and monitoring through a web-based application. The technology supports high-level security through dual authentication methods, using E-ID cards and fingerprint sensors. Additionally, the implementation of IoT allows users to monitor and manage door access remotely, offering added flexibility and convenience. The system's trial shows high reliability in reading RFID and fingerprint data, with significant accuracy in various conditions. The results of this study contribute to the development of modern security solutions that can be applied in various environments, such as residential homes, offices, and public facilities, with the potential to reduce overall crime rates
