Abstract

Down syndrome is a disorder of the chromosome structure characterized by mental retardation ranging from moderate to severe and is a congenital syndrome that appears at birth, due to abnormal fetal development. Down syndrome children have special characteristics that can be immediately seen as differences from normal children. Research on children with Down syndrome is very important to improve their quality of life. It is important to understand that children with Down syndrome are unique individuals with their own interests and desires. They have the same right to be treated fairly and respected as an important part of society. This research is qualitative in nature with a content analysis approach with data sources from research materials from several Scopus-based national and international literature with a total of 22 articles related to the theme to be discussed. The results of this research are about children with Down syndrome to understand that children with Down syndrome are unique individuals with their own interests and desires. They have the same right to be treated fairly and respected as an important part of society. With greater knowledge, understanding and inclusion, we can create a supportive environment for all children, including those with special needs such as Down syndrome.

Abstract

This research investigates the effectiveness of collaboration between parents and teachers in improving the skills of children with developmental disabilities. Participatory methods involve both parties in planning and implementing initiatives. The results showed significant improvements in children's adaptive, social and cognitive skills. Collaboration between parents and teachers can be an important approach in optimizing the growth and development of children with special needs. Practical implications include applying this model in the context of inclusive education to expand its positive impact. Collaboration between parents and teachers is key in creating an educational environment that supports the holistic growth of children with developmental disabilities. By actively involving parents, apart from conveying information, emotional support is created which is important for the child's development. The implications of these findings can be the basis for developing more effective and sustainable inclusive education strategies for children with special needs that focus on close collaboration between parents and teachers.

Abstract

about the role of class teachers and special assistant teachers in dealing with students with autism disorders in elementary schools. And to describe the characteristics of children with autism and how the active role of parents and teachers in improving the communication and social interaction skills of children with autism, children to adapt to the disorder and effective development interventions and improve the quality of life of children with autism and parents who care for them. The research method used is descriptive qualitative which describes and explains the role of teachers in developing children with autism at SKH Elmyra Shanum in Serang. Data collection methods use observation techniques, interviews, documentary research. Data collection tools in the form of audio recordings at SKH Elmyra Shanum. This study shows that there is a significant relationship between the active role of parents and school teachers in improving children's communication and social interaction skills. The most important thing given to children is parental acceptance of children and social support provided by parents and teachers in the child's environment

Abstract

Autism or Spectrum Impaired Autism (GSA) is a disorder of the development of neuropsychological which is characterized by difficulties in social communication,in s,kh madina ciracas interaction, and patterns of repetitive behavior and limited interests. This disorder has a broad spectrum, with symptoms and severity that varies in each individual. The cause of autism involves genetic and environmental factors, although the specific mechanisms are still not fully understood. Early detection and precise intervention are very important to support the development of children with autism, including behavior therapy, speech therapy, and special education interventions. This article aims to providea general picture of the characteristics, causes, and intervention strategies for individuals with autism, and highlight the importance of social inclusion and family support in improving their quality of life.
