Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran dan membentuk kebiasaan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat melalui edukasi menggosok gigi dengan baik dan benar pada siswa MI Nurul Ulum Ulum II Teja Barat. Latar belakang dari pengabdian ini karena minimnya pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa akan pentingnya perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat khususnya dalam menggosok gigi dengan baik dan benar. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode penyuluhan yang mencakup pada penyampaian informasi, pengetahuan, dan pemahaman terkait suatu topik atau permasalahan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa melalui media video dan praktek sederhana di dalam kelas, pengabdian ini dapat memberikan dampak yang postif terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa akan pentingnya perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat khususnya dalam menggosok gigi dengan baik dan benar.

Abstract

History learning at the elementary school level often presents challenges for students due to the complexity of historical events, the number of figures and dates that need to be understood, and the use of learning media that tends to be text-based. Therefore, innovative and interactive learning media that utilize technology and are suited to the characteristics of Alpha Generation students are needed to make history learning more engaging and meaningful. This study aimed to develop and determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of SIGAP (Seru Ingat G30S/PKI) educational game media on the history of the G30S/PKI for Alpha Generation students in the gadget era at SDN Keleyan 1 Socah. This research used Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model consisting of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and cognitive learning achievement tests. The research subjects consisted of three expert validators and grade IV students of SDN Keleyan 1 Socah. The product was tested in a small group involving 5 students and a large group involving 15 students. The results showed that SIGAP educational game media obtained a validity score of 92.65% from the media expert, 95% from the material expert, and 70.83% from the learning design expert. The practicality results obtained 100% from the teacher response questionnaire and 97.33% from the large-group student response questionnaire, both categorized as very interesting. The effectiveness results showed that 100% of students achieved the predetermined learning criteria, while teacher and student activity observations in the first and second learning sessions each obtained 100%. These results indicate that SIGAP educational game media is valid, practical, and effective for supporting the learning of G30S/PKI history in grade IV elementary school.
