Abstract

ABSTRACT This paper aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the concept of Muamalah within the perspective of Islamic law. Etymologically, Muamalah means interaction, while terminologically it refers to all rules and activities in socio-economic life regulated by Islamic law to achieve mutual benefit. The study explains the broad scope of Muamalah, covering economic activities such as buying and selling (bai’), leasing (ijarah), and partnerships (syirkah), as well as social deeds like zakat and waqf. Fundamental principles include permissibility (ibahah), justice, mutual consent (taradhi), honesty, and transparency. The paper emphasizes the strict prohibition of practices like riba (usury), gharar (uncertainty), and maisir (gambling), as regulated by the Qur'an and Hadith. The application of Muamalah is intended to create economic justice, protect rights, and bring blessings in wealth Keywords: Muamalah 1, Islamic Law 2, Islamic Economics 3 ABSTRAK Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman komprehensif mengenai konsep Muamalah dalam perspektif hukum Islam. Secara etimologis, Muamalah berarti saling berinteraksi, sedangkan secara terminologis mengacu pada segala aturan dan aktivitas kehidupan sosial-ekonomi yang diatur oleh hukum Islam demi mencapai kemaslahatan bersama. Kajian ini menjelaskan ruang lingkup Muamalah yang luas, meliputi aktivitas ekonomi seperti jual beli (bai’), sewa-menyewa (ijarah), dan kerja sama (syirkah), serta perbuatan sosial seperti zakat dan wakaf. Prinsip-prinsip dasarnya mencakup kebolehan (ibahah), keadilan, kerelaan (taradhi), kejujuran, dan transparansi. Artikel ini menekankan larangan ketat terhadap praktik seperti riba, gharar (ketidakjelasan), dan maisir (judi), yang diatur secara tegas dalam Al-Qur'an dan Hadis. Penerapan Muamalah bertujuan menciptakan keadilan ekonomi, melindungi hak-hak, dan mendatangkan keberkahan dalam harta. Kata Kunci: Muamalah 1, Hukum Islam 2, Ekonomi Syariah 3

Abstract

This study examines the influence of social media and popular culture on the behavior of fifth-grade students and explores strategies for strengthening media literacy at SDN 24 Batangase. In the digital era, elementary school students are increasingly exposed to various social media platforms and popular culture trends that shape their communication patterns, learning motivation, and social behavior. The objectives of this research were to analyze the level of social media use among students, identify its positive and negative impacts on student behavior, determine factors contributing to low media literacy, and formulate recommendations for media literacy reinforcement in schools. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach supported by quantitative data, using observations, semi-structured interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis as data collection techniques. The research subjects consisted of fifth-grade students, classroom teachers, and parents. The findings indicate that social media and popular culture significantly influence students’ language use, learning concentration, social interaction, and self-confidence. While some students benefit from educational digital content, many experience decreased focus and tend to imitate viral trends without critical evaluation. The results also reveal that students’ media literacy skills are still limited, particularly in evaluating content credibility, digital ethics, and online safety. Therefore, strengthening media literacy through collaborative efforts involving schools, teachers, and parents is essential. Integrating media literacy into learning activities, utilizing popular culture positively, and providing continuous guidance are recommended to help students develop critical, responsible, and character-based digital behavior.

Abstract

The quality of education in Indonesia continues to face various challenges despite numerous improvement efforts and policy reforms. This study aims to analyze the concept of educational quality, the factors influencing it, the differences between the traditional and new educational paradigms, as well as the challenges and solutions in its implementation. The method used is a literature review by analyzing theoretical sources and educational policy regulations. The findings indicate that educational quality encompasses interconnected aspects of inputs, processes, outputs, and outcomes. The shift in educational paradigms from centralization to decentralization and from teacher-centered to student-centered learning creates opportunities to improve innovation in teaching and school management. However, implementation in the field still encounters obstacles, particularly related to teacher competence, infrastructure limitations, and insufficient support from local governments. Therefore, enhancing teacher professionalism, strengthening school-based management, increasing policy support at the regional level, and utilizing educational technology are essential to sustain improvements in educational quality.
