Abstract

This PKM is carried out for an MSME, namely Medan Outdoor Equipmet (MOE) which is an MSME that is very creative in the production of car tents used for off road activities and for various other cars. MOE is a business in the field of equipment that is indeed very much in demand by young people, especially those who like camping activities, MOE has been established since 2016 and is always learning to improve its production activities. The aim is to assist production activities carried out by MOE MSMEs and to improve the quality of branding and financial management. The production of car tents that is carried out is really still very manual and is indeed done by yourself. The production of this car tent is carried out in small quantities, because it is done manually and does not have workers. Actually, market demand is very high but manufacturing or productivity is still very low due to limited equipment and human resources that can manage it. Thus, in addition to the needs related to equipment that can help the production of the car tent, branding and financial management are also needed in connection with this Medan Outdoor Equipment MSME . Branding is an effort that can be done in order to improve the quality and capability of the product to be produced and of course good financial management, will be able to improve the quality of a good product as well. Abstract

The general purpose of implementing this activity is as a form of higher education tri dharma activities which are carried out every year using DIPA Polmed funds. While the special objective is to improve the ability of MSMEs in the business world and participate in efforts to develop regional economic capacity. PKM activities have been carried out at the Waroeng Cemilan Amimi Business. Community Partnership Service (PkM) activities are carried out with a focus on the development of MSMEs called Waroeng Cemilan Amimi. Through the implementation of PKM, assistance is carried out to increase the understanding of business owners related to making simple financial statements to support their business continuity. In addition, in response to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the business, assistance was provided in the form of chest freezers and electric ovens to increase efficiency and product diversification. The results of this PkM activity show an increase in the understanding of Waroeng Cemilan Amimi owners in preparing financial statements, so that they are able to manage their business better. The provision of additional equipment such as chest freezers and ovens has helped in expanding production as well as increasing product competitiveness. Thus, this PKM activity has succeeded in making a positive contribution to the sustainability and development of local MSMEs, in line with efforts to support microeconomic recovery during the pandemic. Abstract

Usaha pabrik roti berbasis rumah tangga memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung perekonomian masyarakat, khususnya pada sektor usaha mikro dan kecil. Namun, sebagian besar pelaku usaha masih menghadapi kendala dalam pengelolaan keuangan, seperti ketiadaan sistem pengendalian internal, lemahnya pencatatan transaksi, serta ketidaktahuan dalam menghitung harga pokok produksi dan laba secara tepat. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa pencatatan masih dilakukan manual tanpa standar, biaya produksi tidak dihitung menyeluruh, dan sistem pengawasan kas belum memadai.Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas manajerial dan akuntansi pelaku usaha pabrik roti rumah tangga melalui penerapan akuntansi dasar berbasis sistem pengendalian internal sederhana yang sesuai dengan karakteristik usaha kecil. Tujuan khusus program meliputi: (1) meningkatkan pemahaman serta keterampilan pencatatan dan pengawasan keuangan yang sistematis; (2) membantu penyusunan laporan arus kas dan perhitungan harga pokok produksi sederhana; serta (3) mendukung peningkatan kapasitas produksi melalui bantuan peralatan seperti loyang, kompor pemanggang, dan troli roti.Program dilaksanakan selama tiga bulan melalui pendekatan partisipatif dengan tahapan survei awal, penyusunan sistem pengendalian internal, pelatihan akuntansi dasar, pendampingan implementasi, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Pelatihan dilakukan secara intensif dengan metode studi kasus dan simulasi praktik pencatatan. Luaran kegiatan meliputi modul pelatihan, template laporan keuangan sederhana, artikel populer, serta peningkatan peralatan produksi. Abstract

UMKM memiliki peranan penting dalam perekonomian nasional, termasuk dalam pelestarian budaya lokal melalui produk kerajinan tradisional. Salah satunya adalah UMKM Kerajinan Alat Musik Tradisional Gambus Kayu milik Bapak Bambang Hermanto di Desa Tanjung Morawa A, Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Berdasarkan hasil survei, mitra menghadapi kendala dalam pengelolaan usaha, terutama belum adanya sistem pencatatan keuangan yang tertib serta pengendalian persediaan bahan baku yang efektif. Kondisi ini menyebabkan kesulitan dalam memantau arus kas, menentukan harga pokok produksi, menghitung keuntungan, dan melakukan perencanaan usaha secara akurat. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan keuangan dan pengendalian persediaan melalui pendampingan akuntansi dasar bagi mitra. Target yang ingin dicapai meliputi: (1) memberikan pelatihan akuntansi dasar dan pengelolaan persediaan, (2) menyusun sistem pencatatan keuangan sederhana yang sesuai dengan karakteristik usaha, (3) menerapkan kartu persediaan manual untuk memantau stok bahan baku dan barang jadi, serta (4) menghasilkan modul pelatihan, video dokumentasi, artikel media massa, dan artikel ilmiah pada jurnal pengabdian terakreditasi. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup tahap persiapan dan koordinasi, pelatihan akuntansi dasar, pendampingan penerapan sistem pencatatan keuangan dan persediaan, serta evaluasi hasil kegiatan. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif ini, diharapkan mitra memiliki kemampuan mandiri dalam mengelola keuangan dan persediaan, sehingga usaha dapat berkembang secara lebih terarah, efisien, dan berkelanjutan
