Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the 7 Habits of Great Indonesian Children (KAIH) program in strengthening students’ religious character at SMPN 8 Pamekasan. The research focuses on the implementation process, habituation strategies, and the program’s influence on students’ religious attitudes in both learning activities and school life. The aim of this study is to analyze the implementation of KAIH and to identify changes in students’ religious character following its consistent application. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data display, and thematic conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that KAIH is integrated into intracurricular activities, co-curricular programs, and school culture. The habituation process enhances students’ discipline in worship, polite behavior, responsibility, and social awareness. The program also strengthens teachers’ roles as character role models. This research contributes theoretically to the development of habit-based religious character education and practically offers an applicable KAIH implementation model for junior secondary schools.

Abstract

The importance of time management in improving the academic achievement of seventh-grade students at MTs Al-Mardliyyah. Time management refers to students' ability to plan and use their study time effectively, ensuring that no time is wasted. Good time management helps students become more prepared, focused, and efficient in their learning, while also fostering discipline and a sense of responsibility. Supporting factors such as the roles of teachers and parents, as well as strategies like creating study schedules and setting priorities, play a significant role in successful time management. The results of the study show a strong relationship between time management and academic performance. Therefore, the implementation of effective time management is highly recommended as part of efforts to enhance the quality of education and support students’ overall character development, especially for seventh-grade students

Abstract

This study examines the strengthening of muhasabah an-nafs learning strategies in helping students recognize their self-potential in the Aqidah Akhlak subject at MA Miftahul Qulub Polagan Galis Pamekasan. The study is grounded in the issue of students’ low reflective awareness of their abilities and personal character, highlighting the need for a learning approach that emphasizes value internalization and self-evaluation. The objective of this research is to describe the implementation, effectiveness, and impact of the muhasabah an-nafs strategy on students’ self-potential recognition. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, utilizing observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation techniques. The findings indicate that strengthening the muhasabah an-nafs strategy enhances students’ self-awareness, reflective honesty, and intrinsic motivation in developing both academic and spiritual potential. Furthermore, this strategy contributes to fostering religious character and personal responsibility. The study offers a contribution in the form of a reflective, spiritually grounded learning model that is contextually relevant for improving the quality of Aqidah Akhlak education.
