<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah pengaruh penggunaan gedget dan karakter disiplin belajar terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik di smp negeri 1 tompaso baru. Metode kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Seluruh siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Tompaso Baru yang berjumlah 102 siswa.Teknik pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan rumus slovin ditetapkan sebanyak 50 orang siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Tompaso Baru. Setalah dilakukan analisis data diperoleh bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan secara simultan penggunaan gedget dan karakter disiplin terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik Kelas IX di SMPN 1 Tompaso Baru, dimana nilai kofisien determinasinya sebesar 58,7% dan sisanya 41,3% di pengaruhi oleh faktor lain diluar penelitian ini. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Motivasi, Hasil Belajar ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine how the use of gadgets and the character of learning discipline affect the learning motivation of students at SMP Negeri 1 Tompaso Baru. Quantitative methods were used in this study. The population in this study were all students of class IX of SMP Negeri 1 Tompaso Baru totaling 102 students. The sampling technique used in this study was based on the Slovin formula, which was determined as many as 50 students of class IX of SMP Negeri 1 Tompaso Baru. After data analysis, it was obtained that there was a significant simultaneous influence of the use of gadgets and the character of discipline on the learning motivation of class IX students at SMPN 1 Tompaso Baru, where the coefficient of determination was 58.7% and the remaining 41.3% was influenced by other factors outside this study.
