Background: Stunting is a health problem that threatens the country's progress in the future, because stunted children can experience health problems and impaired cognitive function, thus reducing the quality of human resources, therefore stunting must be prevented and overcome. Various educational interventions to overcome stunting have been implemented, but there has been no evaluation related to how effective one media is with another on fathers and mothers Purpose: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of education with videos and leaflets in mothers and fathers who have toddlers at risk of stunting Methods: This study is a Quasi-Experimental Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sample was taken by simple random sampling of 120 fathers and mothers who have toddlers at risk of stunting divided into an intervention group and a control group. Education was provided using videos in the intervention group and leaflets in the control group Results The results of the Wilcoxon statistical test on knowledge and attitudes, before and after receiving education in both fathers and mothers showed a p value of <0.05, but the results of the simple logistic regression test showed that education only had an effect on knowledge and attitudes in the mother group, while in the father group it only affected knowledge but not attitudes Conclusion Education with videos and leaflets is equally effective in increasing the score of knowledge and attitudes in mothers and fathers before and after receiving education in each educational media. Videos and leaflet have their own advantages. Education has a greater impact on the mother group than the father group, it is possible that the mother's attention and perception of stunted children is higher than the father, because the childcare role is usually carried out by the mother
