Abstract

An abstract is a crucial part of writing a scientific article because it serves as a concise summary explaining the core of the research. Through an abstract, readers can understand the objectives, methods, and main findings of the research without having to read the entire article. This study aims to examine the concept, structure, and principles of effective abstract writing in scientific articles. The method used was a literature review, analyzing various scientific journals that discuss the structure and function of abstracts in academic publications. The results of the study indicate that a good abstract generally contains five main components: research background, research objectives, research methods, research results, and a brief conclusion. This structure helps readers obtain a clear picture of the research's contribution. Furthermore, abstracts should be written concisely, informatively, and using easy-to-understand language. Systematic abstract writing not only improves the quality of scientific articles but also facilitates indexing and searching in scientific databases. Therefore, the ability to write abstracts effectively is a crucial skill for writers in producing quality scientific publications.

Abstract

The systematic organization of literature and consistent citation practices constitute two fundamental pillars in the preparation of high-quality scientific research articles, particularly for journals indexed in Scopus. This article discusses how researchers can structure literature reviews thematically, select credible sources, and apply accurate citation techniques to avoid plagiarism while strengthening the legitimacy of research findings. Effective literature writing does not merely compile previous research results; rather, it demonstrates critical synthesis, reconciles differing findings, and identifies research gaps that serve as the basis for justifying the current study. Proper citation practices include the use of clear paraphrasing, accurate citation placement (both in-text and in the reference list), and consistency in citation style (e.g., APA 7th edition) in accordance with journal guidelines. This article emphasizes that citation is not merely a technical formality; instead, it represents a means for authors to engage in scholarly dialogue with the academic community, construct a coherent knowledge narrative, and demonstrate academic integrity. Researchers are also encouraged to utilize reference management software, such as Mendeley or Zotero, to ensure accuracy and efficiency in literature writing and citation practices. By adhering to these principles, authors can enhance the readability, credibility, and publication potential of their articles in reputable international journals while minimizing the risk of academic ethical violations.

Abstract

Scientific writing is a form of academic communication used to disseminate research findings, ideas, and scholarly studies to the academic community. The preparation of scientific papers must follow systematic scientific principles to ensure that the information presented is clear, logical, and academically accountable. This study aims to analyze the structure of scientific writing in academic research and explain the function of each section in a scientific article. The research method used in this study is a literature review by examining various scientific sources, including national and international journals, academic books, and relevant research articles. The results indicate that the structure of scientific writing generally consists of several main sections: title, abstract, introduction, literature review, research methodology, results, discussion, conclusion, and references. These sections help present research information in a systematic and logical manner, making it easier for readers to understand the research findings. Understanding the systematic structure of scientific writing is essential for students and researchers to produce high-quality scientific papers that meet academic and publication standards.

Abstract

Scientific publication in Sinta 1 accredited journals poses a significant challenge for academics due to rigorous standards and high rejection rates. This article aims to describe comprehensive strategies and technical managerial techniques for scientific writing to successfully navigate top-tier journals. Using a literature review approach and empirical analysis, this study explores five main pillars of publication success: constructing titles with global appeal, strengthening State of the Art (SOTA) through gap analysis, digitalizing reference management based on Reference Manager Software, paraphrasing techniques for plagiarism mitigation, and navigating the editorial system through the Open Journal System (OJS). The results indicate that publication success is determined not only by the depth of research data but also by the author's ability to communicate novelty and meet technical managerial compliance. This article provides a practical contribution as a systematic guide for researchers and academics in improving the quality of national publications toward international standards.

Abstract

Writing scientific articles is the art of communicating truth through measurable logic. This study aims to map the fundamental characteristics of scientific articles in accredited national journals through an analysis of 15 recent literature sources (2024–2026). Employing a literature review method, this study explores the dimensions of rhetorical structure, linguistic quality, and the integration of AI technology in writing. The results indicate that publication success is significantly determined by the sharpness of the IMRAD pattern, the objectivity of interpersonal metafunctions in language, and strict ethical compliance. This article concludes that high-quality scientific writing is a blend of technical proficiency and the intellectual honesty of the author.
