Abstract

Purpose: This community engagement program is designed to enhance the digital literacy of students at State Vocational High School 50 Jakarta through structured training and guided mentorship centered on the effective utilization of Google Workspace. Method: Implementation followed a multi-stage framework comprising stakeholder orientation sessions, intensive skill-building workshops, practical integration of digital tools into classroom instruction, and periodic evaluative assessments. Practical Applications: The initiative strengthens students' readiness for participation in the digital workforce and aligns with the targets of Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).  Conclusion: Observational data reveal a marked improvement in students' proficiency with Google Docs and Google Classroom, accompanied by positive shifts in educators' pedagogical practices, as evidenced by the growing integration of digital technologies into instructional methodologies.

Abstract

his study investigates the role of digital innovation in teacher education by integrating a flipbook-based microteaching handbook into the Accounting Education program. Although printed modules remain widely used in microteaching courses, they often fail to effectively engage digital-native student teachers or support the development of essential 21st-century teaching competencies. Using a quasi-experimental pretest–posttest control group design, 60 fifth-semester students were assigned to an experimental group using the digital flipbook and a control group using printed modules. Microteaching performance was assessed through standardized rubric scores. Results showed significantly greater improvement in the experimental group, t(58)=4.37, p<0.001, with a large effect size (Cohen’s d=0.86). The experimental group achieved an 18.3% learning gain compared to 8.1% in the control group. Questionnaire data also indicated positive student perceptions regarding improved understanding (85%), confidence (92%), and motivation (88%). These findings demonstrate that flipbook-based materials not only enhance microteaching performance but also support higher engagement and digital readiness. Integrating interactive digital learning resources into teacher education can therefore contribute to achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, particularly Target 4.c on preparing qualified and digitally competent educators.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effects of metacognitive awareness and social media addiction on academic procrastination among Accounting students at public vocational high schools (SMK Negeri) in Central Jakarta. This study employed a survey method with a quantitative approach. The accessible population consisted of 178 eleventh-grade students majoring in Accounting at SMKN 2 Jakarta, SMKN 14 Jakarta, and SMKN 16 Jakarta, with a sample of 124 students. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality tests, linearity tests, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, F-test, and t-test with the assistance of SPSS software. The results indicated that metacognitive awareness had a negative effect on academic procrastination. This was evidenced by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a regression coefficient of -0.343. Meanwhile, social media addiction had a positive effect on academic procrastination, as indicated by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a regression coefficient of 0.447. Furthermore, metacognitive awareness and social media addiction simultaneously had a significant effect on academic procrastination.

Abstract

Women-owned Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in strengthening household and local economies. However, many women entrepreneurs still face challenges in managing business operations, particularly in digital inventory recording, production cost calculation, and the utilization of digital marketing. This community engagement program aims to empower women-owned MSMEs through the development and implementation of a smartphone-based application for inventory management and digital marketing within the Red and White Cooperative ecosystem. The program was conducted with members of IPEMI PC Bojongsari through participatory training, hands-on application practice, mentoring, and evaluation. The activities introduced Smart-POS UMKM to support digital inventory recording, sales transactions, cost management, and business reporting, complemented by training on production cost and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) calculation and data-driven digital marketing. The program emphasizes the integration of inventory and sales data to support pricing, promotional strategies, and business decision-making. Through this integrated approach, participants are expected to improve their digital financial literacy, operational efficiency, inventory management, pricing accuracy, and digital marketing capabilities. The program also strengthens the role of the Red and White Cooperative as a community-based ecosystem for supporting women-owned MSMEs through digital innovation. This initiative contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh struktur modal dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap kinerja keuangan pada perusahaan yang terdaftar dalam Jakarta Islamic Index (JII).  Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan perusahaan periode 2023–2024 yang diperoleh dari Bursa Efek Indonesia. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri atas 30 perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria sebagai emiten JII. Struktur modal diukur menggunakan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), ukuran perusahaan menggunakan Firm Size, dan kinerja keuangan diukur dengan Return on Assets (ROA). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur modal berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan, sedangkan ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan penggunaan utang berpotensi menurunkan kinerja keuangan perusahaan, sehingga pengelolaan struktur modal menjadi faktor penting dalam pengambilan keputusan manajerial dan investasi   This study aims to analyze the influence of capital structure and company size on financial performance in companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). The study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data in the form of company financial reports for the 2023–2024 period obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample of this study consists of 30 companies that meet the criteria as JII issuers. Capital structure is measured using the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), company size using Firm Size, and financial performance is measured by Return on Assets (ROA). Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The results show that capital structure has a negative and significant effect on financial performance, while company size has no significant effect on financial performance. This finding suggests that increasing the use of debt has the potential to reduce a company's financial performance, making capital structure management an important factor in managerial and investment decision-making
