Abstract

As problems associated with the environment, society, and economy become increasingly pressing, businesses face the need to consider sustainability as a core strategy. Thus, the current research seeks to explore strategic innovations in sustainable business models by analyzing the leading global organizations. The study used a qualitative methodology based on the analysis of documents comprising 87 cases selected from the extant literature and company reports. As found, firms can sustain their operations via altering value propositions, incorporating stakeholder views, and developing dynamic capabilities, which, in turn, allows them to apply design thinking and the concept of circular economy. In terms of patterns of innovation, the following can be distinguished: sustainable development of products and services, green supply chain, and sustainability-oriented marketing strategies. Moreover, the differences between various industries have been considered since they indicate the impact of context on sustainable business models' use. Overall, it can be concluded that strategic innovations play a key role in ensuring both sustainability success and competitive advantage.

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between the quality of healthcare services and patient satisfaction at Hati Kudus Langgur Hospital. The main aim is to assess whether service quality has a significant impact on how satisfied patients are with the hospital's services. A quantitative method is utilized, using a structured questionnaire to collect data. The research targets all patients of the hospital, with a sample size of at least 123 respondents, calculated using the Slovin formula. The analysis methods include descriptive statistics, simple linear regression, validity and reliability tests, as well as the coefficient of determination (R²). The findings indicate: (1) Tangibility has a significant positive influence on patient satisfaction; (2) Reliability does not significantly influence satisfaction; (3) Responsiveness has a meaningful effect on satisfaction; (4) Assurance significantly contributes to satisfaction; and (5) Empathy does not show a significant impact on patient satisfaction at the hospital.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of organizational culture and job satisfaction on employee performance at Private Hospital Type C, Central Java. Hospitals face unique human resource management challenges, including high workloads and expectations for service quality, making organizational culture and job satisfaction critical to optimizing performance. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 201 healthcare workers through a structured questionnaire utilizing a Likert scale. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and linear regression. The findings reveal that both organizational culture and job satisfaction significantly affect employee performance, with strong statistical significance. The variance in employee performance is explained by these two factors by 65.1%. These results confirm that a positive organizational culture and high job satisfaction contribute substantially to enhancing staff performance in hospital settings. The findings also align with the hospital’s mission, vision, and core values, emphasizing holistic care, teamwork, and professional integrity. Strengthening organizational culture and addressing job satisfaction can serve as effective strategies for hospital management to improve service quality and operational efficiency

Abstract

This conceptual study employs a Critical Realist approach with context-mechanism-outcome (CMO) logic to examine how boundary objects facilitate design-led innovation through dynamic capability development. It is conceptually framed by boundary object theory and dynamic capability theory. This study develops a conceptual framework linking different types of boundary objects to key dynamic capabilities (sensing, seizing, reconfiguring) and posits that these shared artefacts and processes act as generative mechanisms driving innovation outcomes across diverse contexts. This CMO-based perspective provides a nuanced explanation of how specific contexts activate these mechanisms to shape innovation results. The primary contribution of this study is a set of theoretical propositions delineating how various boundary objects serve as generative mechanisms in design-led innovation. This bridges boundary object theory with dynamic capability theory and enriches our understanding of cross-boundary knowledge integration and organizational adaptability.
